Dark black in color, extremely viscous... Aroma is extremely potent, coffee and chili peppers... Flavor is rum barrels, potent, heat from booze and rum gives way to coffee and chili heat on the palate... Crazy complex, crazy good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Tapwerks! Pours black with a fluffy that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of coffee and rum with a bit of bitter chocolate as well as a touch of pepper. Flavor sees the pepper come out more with a good amount of rum, coffee and bitter chocolate. Nice and thick.

Bottle. Huge thanks to soonerchamps for the trade! Pours pitch black with very little head. Aromas are fresh roasted coffee, vanilla, chocolate, light chilies, and light rum. Taste is huge coffee up front, slightly bitter. Turns to sweet chocolate and vanilla. Finishes with chilies and rum. Light heat in the finish from both the chilies and the boozy rum. Medium to thick body, great mouthfeel, slightly oily, coats everything, nice soft carbonation. Great beer. This has surprisingly more carbonation that the regular Bomb. I think the regular version is better just because the aroma and flavors seem bigger and just jump out at you. This is still a great beer worth seeking out and trying.

Bottle, thanks to lumpsowers, 11/3/2013. Pours black, thin light tan head dies down and recedes to the edges of the glass. Aroma is raw cacao nibs, creamy caramel, vanilla with chiles blending nicely with earthy roasted coffee beans, fruity rum a mild accent in the finish. Taste is dark chocolate, mild caramel and rum sweetness with moderate chile heat on the mid-palate, tingling the tongue, again matching nicely with the heavy roast and coffee notes, booze adding to bitterness in the finish. Thick body. Great beer.

Will, you da man! Incredible aroma somehow trumps regular Bomb. Rum accents the other flavors. Vanilla and chiles shine while not overwhelming the profile. Jesus, this is good.

Thanks to someone for sharing this during the bottle share before the Jester King Funk and Sour Fest. Black pour with a brown head. The aroma has a ton of sweet molasses as well as some chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is where this beer really shines. I get a lot of chocolate, coffee and roasted malt, as expected, but the barrel notes really come through strongly. I get a lot of sweet rum notes as well as some spice, oak and vanilla. Fairly sweet and pretty boozy, but still very enjoyable. Thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
