Bottle. Poured a dark brown color with an off white head. This sums it up -> WOW. This is one fantastic beer. Vanilla, chocolate, coffee, dark fruits, and just all around goodness. Alcohol content hidden. WOW.

March 27, 2015. Bottle at home.
Black with a small creamy brown head. Aroma is cocoa, chili, dried fruits, rum, coffee, vanilla and dried fruits. Taste is sweet vanilla, rum, dried fruits, toffee with bitter roasted coffee and chocolate notes, a distinct (and very nice) chili bite in the finish with rum, vanilla and chocolate. Smooth creamy, texture, medium to full bodied, soft carbonation.

Bottle at tasting. Black oily beer, almost no head. Aroma of chili, rum, cacao and coffee. Taste of up-front chili, coffee, boozy vanilla rum, some raisin and in the finish mostly vanilla rum again. Rich beer, very tasty.

On tap at Mikkeller Stockholm. Very dark brown with a minimal tan head. Sweet with vanilla, milk chocolate, chili and light roasted notes. Also some hints of coffee and oak. The mouthfeel was creamy and the finish long with warming alcohol.

Flaska systembolaget.

There’s a lot going on in this one: chocolate, coffee, licorice, toffee and rum followed by a warming, growing chili heat. Smooth mouthfeel. Fascinating. Perhaps a little bit too much chili.

Bottle @ SB march 2015. Sweet vanilla & chocolate aroma. Pitch dark thick beer with a dark thick foam. Lots of roasted malt and chocolate and it ends with a little chili touch. Very nice stout, love the touch of chili in this one. Just fantastic!

Bottle at home. Aroma of vanilla, cognac (I want to say rum tho), milk chocolate, coffee, really old apples, caramel. Medium bitterness and medium sweetness. Chilli is present when the beer is warmer. Nice texture, oily and thick. Pretty baked while drinking this, it?s friday.

Smooth as they come, like a fine wine. Creamy body shows very understated notes of rum cake from the barrel age. Body is dark as night, showing black fruit notes that weren’t evident in the regular Bomb, and this seems more textured and creamy as well, as it picks up similar chile spice notes underneath. Rich chocolate malt lingers long, spice is more understated and creamy as rum barrel flavors soften the 15% abv bite and add complexity.

Roasty, extremely rich, very salty, ashy, coffee, peppery, chocolate, ABV evident, acidic, vanilla, raisins. Black colour, no head. Very salty, not very sweet considering ABV, but still noticable, spicy peppery and lightly bitter. Considering ABV the mouthfeel is actually a bit thin, small, but a bit disturbingly sharp bubbles, peppery, salty and warming finish. Interesting, but not really my cup of Tea.
