3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
750ml bottle. Hazy orangey golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Intense typical brett aroma, floral, fruity, spicy, notes of bubblegum and, to put it frankly, urine. Taste is almost identical, very good balance of sweet and sourish portions. Good.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from soonerchamps. A hazy yellow-gold color pours out with a big fluffy white head on top that sheds some nice lacing. The aroma has chamomile, spring flowers, lemon, tropical fruit, dusty white wine, and a bit of funky bretty yeast. Wonderful scent. Fruity and funky flavors; lightly tart, crisp, and dry towards the finish. Thereís a lot of white wine character that goes with bretty funk and citrusy flavors. Refreshing and easy going down but with good substance. This is excellent stuff; right up my alley and I look forward to trying their other beers.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a cloudy banana yellow with a smallish white cap. The head is a bit small, but otherwise, itís a perfectly nice looking saison. The aroma is dried out fresh grain with fruity, barnyard-y saison yeast notes and a dash of funk. The fruitiness is a mix of light citrus and light stone fruits, lemons meet apricots. It has that dry yeasty smell of a well-fermented saison. Very farmhouse fresh. The brett still seems young, but it adds on a pleasant complexity. The taste starts surprisingly sweet and fruity before drying out and pushing into a lasting, almost acrid bitterness. The transition from fresh light grain and apricots to yeasty peppercorns and lemon peels is fast, nearly jarring, but it works for me. I particularly like that dry, bitter, spicy finish. The mouthfeel is light but full. Lots of flavor. No booze. Carbonation is somewhat high, though not abnormal for the style. This is a very well done beer. Great to see more quality saisons being produced by American brewers.

Aroma is citrus, coriander, raspberries, strawberries, cut grass, wheat, light herbal hops, leather, wood. Taste is is medium sweet and light/medium bitter. Medium/light body. oily texture, medium carbonaiton. Bone dry and light bitter finish, a bit too dry for my taste.
