4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft pour at the Sybarite Pig in Boca Raton, Fl. Snifter. Pours a hazy yellow with a one finger white head. Head gone in about 120 seconds but solid lacing. Aroma of brett, farm funk, citrus, white pepper and bread. The taste is similar with the brett and wine yeasts playing well with the pilsner malts. Well balanced, slightly dry finish. Not sour, but that good farmhouse saison. Light body, solid carbonation. Crisp and refreshing. I could drink this all day.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
7% ABV. Shared 22 oz bottle. Pours really cloudy/hazy light golden with a fairly large head. On the nose I get some classic saison yeast, some wheat and citrus notes. Taste is again a bit yeast with orange peel and bread crumbs.

Fad: Lysegul let diset øl med lækkert skumhoved. God duft med en anelse brett. Frisk zesty smag med en smule brett, god mundfylde. Lækker øl.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
750 ml bottle. 7%. From alesbymail.co.uk.
Lively cloudy golden colour with a big fluffy white head.
Spices, yeast, hay, malt, mild sourness and mild hops in a wonderful aroma.
The flavour is very nice. There’s yeast, mild spices, moderate hoppy bitterness, mild alcohol, mild medicine notes, malt and leather. Very tasty. A real treat.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Nice fruity floral aroma. Mostly tropical fruit. Pineapple and ripe pear. Flavor follows aroma. Brett not that apparent but maybe contributes to the pineapple. Not horse-blankety at all. Love it. Great saison. Cloudy in the glass.

750 ml corked and caged bottle thanks to Soonerchamps. Pours a slightly cloudy yellow with a full white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, Brett, black pepper. Taste is mostly dry with a slight bitter bite. Extremely effervescent carbonation. Burps taste like piña coladas.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
500 ml bottle ($10) from the Argonaut into my stemmed Funkwerks glass. Orange and pretty hazy with a nice-sized white head, average longevity, light lacing. Nice, fresh, tart aroma of brettanomyces, earthy/spicy hops, white wine, barnyard, black pepper, citrus/tropical fruits, toasted malts, herbs and Belgian nuances. Similar flavor, earthy, zesty, yeasty, peppery, lightly tart, funky, light sweetness, and mild bitterness. The alcohol is just barely noticeable. Medium body with a nice feel, crisp carbonation and a lingering, dry, somewhat bitter finish. Refreshing and nicely done, a bit pricey for a pint, though.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Silky mouth feel with a tight thin head and golden body. High alcohol content and taste hides the mild grassy notes and hops.

18/I/14 - 75cl bottle @ RBBWG III, my place - BB: n/a (2014-100) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!
Cloudy pale yellow beer, big fluffy white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very funky, wild yeast stuff, bit dirty, spicy, hay, very soapy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, somewhat yeasty, hay, spicy, coriander, pretty bitter, hoppy. Aftertaste: bit metallic, bitter hops, pretty spicy, coriander, meh. Not a big fan. A typical US imitation of a saison, but not more than an imitation.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Refrigerated 0.5 L brown bottle poured into a tulip. Pours hazy golden with big fluffy white head. Aroma is slightly tart yeast, medium/light body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is yeasty, spicy hops, black pepper, some fruitiness, some white wine, hint of brett, and dry finish. Complex, but not a big fan of such a yeast dominant beer and a little pricey.
