3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750 ml bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good for the style; a hazy golden blond with off-white hear that quickly dissipates into lacing. Smells and tastes solid; tart and wild. Nice and lively on the palate. Good beer!

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
What a treat, thanks Santa! The carb on this is thru the roof, much likened to bubbly. Ya get some sweet fruit and a touch of sour, very quaff-able and extremely enjoyable.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasted on 9/21/13 from a corked and caged 750mL bottle purchased at Louisville Beer Store. Pours cloudy yellow with a massive, foamy perfectly white head that slowly recedes to thin, bubbly lace. The nose is dry and funky, almost Champagne-like yeastiness with a touch of tart lemon pith, and a bit of a wheaty malt aroma. The flavor is very similar, with a tart, yet very lightly sweet preserved lemon, a bit more of a biscuity flavor than suggested on the nose, and plenty of dry, funky yeast. The body is fairly light with sparkling carbonation and a very long, faintly sweet, but very tart preserved lemon finish.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle, 6.5%. Slow gusher. The aroma is quite lactic at first. Also has some soft fruit, mango, and perhaps a little fresh lemon juice. Cloudy milky yellow colour. Sparkling. No head. The flavour is sourish. Milky and fruity sourness. Tart finish. A little sweetness to balance. Finishes with a dry and clean lemon note. High carbonation, fizzy. Refreshing. A bit like Berliner Weisse, but better.

Smakprov @Brekeriet. Gyllengul lätt beslöjad med vitt skum. Doft av citron, jäst och lätt funkighet. Frisk citrus med jäst och kryddighet. En balanserad syrlighet som gör ölen frisk och lättdrucken.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from an awesome trader. Thanks! Pours a beautiful clear light gold with big fluffy effervescent white head. Aroma is dry and crisp with big lemon peel, tartness, yeast, and musty farmhouse. Flavor is a very light lemon, effervescent, with a nice sour kick. Some notes of Pinot Grigio and some funky yeast in the background. Super light and airy but with lots of zesty flavor. This is nicely done and different from anything I have had before.
