3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
19th September 2015
Beavertown Spectrum Fest. Keg. Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Medium tart lemon, sweetish florlaness and a touch of something sweet - nutty. Not bad. Light finish.

Bottle: Poured hazy with white yellow with bubble head. Sour funky barnyard aroma. Very mellow grain a little disappointed compared to the nose.

Bottle at home. Pours cloudy yellow with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with no lacing. Aroma is lactic grapes and lemon with light earthy wheat malt. Flavor is light salt, earthy wheat malt, lactic grapes and lemon zest with a dry finish. Light body and carbonation.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
7%ABV. Sour/Wild Ale.
Poured out of the bottle a light pale cloudy gold about 6ºSRM.
Nose was full of a fruity, yeasty aroma. There was a bright hit of fresh bread dough.
Palate is full of bright lemon-like fresh sourness. Like a yellow grapefruit with a nice citrus zest like bitter end. There is a slightly longer hop finish for a wheat beer,
Goes on favorites list for being an interesting product of hybrid brewing; one tasty hoppy witbier with saison-like traits.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A hazy straw color with a bit of pale orange, enormous white head. Smells of pear, lemon, perm, barnyard Brett funk, savory, orange peel. Taste is slight citrus tart, funky, cheesy hop, finishes with a vanilla caramel malt. Plenty of carbonation, tartness is under control, Brett funk is nicely poised in mid palate, good malt finish.

I really good funky saison style. Light and crisp with an understated citrusyness. Picked this up in KS in 2015.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pedestrian for Prairie...still better than most other[places. just not as complex as other newbs I’ve had from them this year, like BrettC and Eliza5beth. Mosylt white wine and funk, moderate acidity, thin but refreshing feel.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
500ml bottle. Appearance: Hazy light golden with a minimal white foam head. Aroma: Lemon and orange, with a distinct brett funk. Hint of lactic acid.
Taste: Light malt sweetness and citrus, quickly turning to a sharp, puckering sourness, and citrus peel on the swallow.
Mouthfeel: Light body and moderately high carbonation.
Finish: Finishes dry with a lingering citrus peel and a hint of brett funk.
Overall: A nice, light, and most importantly balanced wild ale with multiple layers of flavors. Not one dimensionally sour. Very refreshing. Brett character is strong in the aroma, while the taste profile is more lacto forward.

50 cl bottle @ hotel room, Los Angeles.
Pours hazy golden color with a large white head. Funky lemon aroma, wooden notes, some white wine and grapefruits. Grapefruit flavor, citrus, some herbal tones, yeast notes and spices. Sour and complex. Quite nice, better than I expected.
