COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prairie Hop is our hop driven saison. This beer is packed with Simcoe and Citra hops. Notes of peach, mango, and tangerine can be found in the flavor and aroma of this beer. The beer finishes dry which helps the hops jump out of the glass flavor wise.

750 ml bottle at home. Hazy golden orange color with white head. Aroma is light malty, fruity and floral hoppy, funky yeasty. Taste is light sweet and bitter, hoppy fruity, exotic fruits, citrus fruits, sweet like peach fruity, refreshing funky - like bretty. Medium body, oily, fizzy.

Bottle from Bierkoning (purchased a while ago though) at 8% ABV, no BB date, large sample, served in an Oersoep tulip. Initially clear golden color, big rocky white head. Aroma is fruity of hop, bit pineapple, citrus, also spicy saisonesque yeast, bit peppery, slight funky even. Soft bitter taste, slight marzipan like sweetness. Bit dry, flowery, crisp. Medium to high carbonation and thin body, but fitting to the style. Funky notes give that bit of extra. Maybe I left it a bit too long, so not the freshest example, but its still a very nice beer. Can match with the better Belgian stuff.

Tap somewhere in SF a few weeks back. Forward barnyard malted nose with hints of tropical fruit beneath. Flavors are the same with a sweep of citrusy hops coming in mid-palate for a fairly thorough and welcomed takeover. Blend is nice. Good stuff.

4oz on tap at Ei8ht Ball. Hazy golden, slight orange color. Thin ring of off-white head. Leaves decent lace. Very nice nose. Citrusy hop, some of the peach and mango are easily found. Very cool. Surprising amount of mango in the flavor. Some saison-like yeast, mild spiciness. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, lightly soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Nice zest, kind of grassy. Moderate to bigger bitter taste, light to moderate sweet. Pretty tasty zesty hoppy saison to sip on. Punchy & pungent.

Bottle thanks to Alemax. Pours hazy orange with fine white head. Decent retention and moderate amounts of lace. Aroma is fruity, sweet, banana, yeast, with citrus and piney hops, mildly bitter. Flavor is piney, bitter, and citrus up front with a citrus, tropical fruit, sweet finish and a mildly bitter aftertaste. A tasty, hoppy belgian. Soft carbonation, medium body, mildly crisp texture, and lightly dry finish.
