There is nothing quite like free beer especially when this was just one of many excellent options. Deciding to give it a shot after a positive experience with Bomb! I was not disappointed. This is an excellent Belgian that has me wanting to grab a few Prairie beers from the shelves next time a fresh batch arrives.
Aroma / Appearance - The mandarin orange base glows with life under wisps of white head. Lemon, citrus, and grassy bright hops announce their presence like the trumpeters announcing the arrival of royalty - with no subtlety at all.
Flavor / Palate - Bitter rose petals, honey, almonds, and cheesecake coat the mouth with a dry bitterness. Lemon rinds then brighten the taste before an earthy bitter finish. Whatever you categorize this as the result is a great beer that any hophead should enjoy fresh.

Very pleasant hoppy citrus aroma. Pours with white thick head. First sip was absolutely great - sweetness of malty flavors goes in hand with bitterness hops and freshness of citrus hops. Really loved the beer.

Light haze on this gold beer, big white head. Dried fruits on the nose. Mild malt cream, a little thin and dry. Astonishingly clear tinned mango and peach! Other tropical fruits linger in the background. Finishes semi dry. Very nice beer but it needs something more than tinned fruits to reach the highest echelons!

Got in a trade with Cyde. 750 ml bottle into tulip glass, 2013 dating stamped on the cork. Pours very hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big pineapple, peach, lemon zest, tangerine, mango, pear, apple, clove, pepper, wheat, bread, hay, grass, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of hop, malt, and yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of pineapple, peach, tangerine, lemon zest, mango, pear, apple, clove, pepper, wheat, bread, hay, grass, floral, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Fair amount of earthy floral bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pineapple, peach, mango, tangerine, hay, floral, grass, clove, pepper, wheat, bread, and floral earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible balance and complexity of citrus/tropical hop and fruity/spicy yeast ester flavors; with a fair amount of malt balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, lightly slick, and crisp mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic dry hopped saison! All around great complexity and balance of citrus/tropical hops, malt, and fruity/spicy yeast esters; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

Catching up on my ratings here, from notes. 750ml cork and caged bottle. Pours a magnificent gold with a big foamy white head. Aroma of bright, juicy hops, citrus, mild pine, peach, and delicious mangos. Lots of brett notes as well, mostly cobweb, dust, basement, touches of leather. Flavor is hoppy and funky -- perhaps the best mix of each I’ve ever had. Beautiful juicy hops with bone dry basement and barnyard funk. Earthy and rich, touches of peach and resin. Medium bodied with prickly carbonation, smooth and easy to drink. Finishes dry and funky. This is a stunning example of a hop driven saison.

Bottle. Pours a clear and bright gold body with some vigorous carbonation under a large foamy white head. The nose is full of juicy hops, lots of fruity notes, but comes across as subtle and delicate smelling with a light pale maltiness. Some great notes of peach and mango. The flavor is equally light and nuanced in the hop profile, lots of fruitiness with little hop bitterness. Light and soft pale maltiness with a nice influence from the yeast. This is really tasty and seems lighter than the 7% that this is listed at. Lighter bodied with fizzy prickly carbonation and a lingering tropical fruitiness Very nice beer. This is a beer that is going to be better the fresher that it is, so don’t hold on to this long after you buy it.

Big explosive mango, citrus, fresh cut grass aroma. Fairly big body, chewy, alcohol warmth. Exceptional.
