COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prairie Hop is our hop driven saison. This beer is packed with Simcoe and Citra hops. Notes of peach, mango, and tangerine can be found in the flavor and aroma of this beer. The beer finishes dry which helps the hops jump out of the glass flavor wise.

Bottle pored into a 2nd Anni Prairie Teku -- A very active beer with two finger white pillowy foam on top of a cloudy straw colored beer. This is my second favorite Saison of Prairieís behind Standard. Very good.

Appearance: clear orangey gold (significantly muddied with additional pours drawing forth the lees), with a nice dense, slowly shrinking bright white head. Aroma: bright nose full of citrus and tropical fruit, with an assertive lemongrass kick and a hint of earthy funk; citra use is clear in the aroma. Taste: lemon zest and orange, with mango, light pineapple, maybe some tangerine; slightly sweet crackery malts with a hint of honey; slight yeasty funk (less than in a typical saison); good hops on the back end, with citrus balanced by a bit of pine and earth. Finish: very dry, with lingering hops taking on a slightly grassy character. Notes: First experience with this brewery. This was a pretty special beer. Not overly hopped, so the prominent Belgian notes werenít subsumed to the Americanization. Would drink again. Bottle from Knightly Spirits in Orlando, Florida.

16.9 oz bottle. Cloudy orange with a white head. Nose is grass, yeast, bubblegum, white pepper and basil. Medium body with fuzzy carb. Taste is grass, citrus pith, faint honey and earthy herbs. Not so dynamic; maybe an older bottle.

Light Bronze coloured, malts, candy some yeast and intense straw taste. Really well balanced.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden, large off-white head, dissipates fairly slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is hay, citrus, passionfruit, lemon, funk. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, citrus, very light funkiness, pepper. Light body, high carbonation. Solid beer, but I think I drank it in no-mans land; not fresh enough for the hops to shine, not old enough for the funk to develop.

A light hazy orangeish brown color with ample white fluffy head. Smells of fresh cut grass, horse blanket, pine, wheat. Taste is a grassy hoppy fresh taste, some of the horse blanket, a little bit of grain/wheat, finished with a tiny bit of caramel malt sweetness and saltine cracker. Good fresh hoppy beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a medium bodied, gentle yellow with a lil bit of a hazy glow. Has that barnyard funk-yeast typical of good saisons. Grassy hops, lemon pith, fruity traces of mango, white peach and strawberry. Taste is lively, somewhat peppery/zippy. Basement must. Very dry. This would pair phenomenally well with cheese, like a taleggio. Dry hopping gives floral and earthy element. This is well-conceived and nicely executed.

500 ml bottle. Served in a Prairie Teku, the beer pours a hazy gold color with an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both very good. The brew smells like straw, grassy and citrusy hops, yeast, mango, citrus peel, and earthiness. Taste is similar to the aroma, but thereís also some peppery spice, tropical fruit, grainy malt and a bit of peach noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, itís well carbonated and goes down pretty easy. I think itís a good hoppy saison, another quality Prairie brew! Itís pricey at $10.99 a bottle, but itís a tasty brew! Definitely worth trying.

Healthy, white head, lasting, lotsa lace. Hazy gold hued brew. Spicy, lemony nose, lightly grainy. Body is light, soft carbonation. Dry malts, light citrus, musty notes. Dry finish. Fairly uneventful. Bottle from statelineliquors.

Bottle. Pours hazy light orange with a white head. Aroma is very tropical, Belgian yeast, sweet, lots of stone fruit. Taste is very Belgian-like upfront with a strong bitterness in the back. Complex, definitely a Belgian IPA- style. Good.
