COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prairie Hop is our hop driven saison. This beer is packed with Simcoe and Citra hops. Notes of peach, mango, and tangerine can be found in the flavor and aroma of this beer. The beer finishes dry which helps the hops jump out of the glass flavor wise.

This is my first beer from Prairie, and hopefully won’t be the last. Hazy golden amber pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is tart and slightly grainy. Lemon pith, lemongrass, lime leaf, honey. Flavor is lightly acidic up front, lending a tart, bright character. Lemon and lime, with lightly floral hops. Toast and grass. I wouldn’t call it "funk" but there’s definitely yeast character to it that’s almost funky. Reminds me of stuff like Jolly Pumpkin or Fantome with that bright, expressive, fresh tart Belgian character. I could probably find notes of just about any citrus fruit I looked for. Just that right balance where the hops are clearly bringing out and highlighting the natural fruity notes of the saison without just tasting like a beer with a bunch of hops dumped in it. Hits that spot that makes your mouth water and crave sip after sip. Honestly a bit thick and heavy for a hot summer day, but great with a meal of fish. Carbonation is on the light side, but I probably wouldn’t want to up it for fear that it would take away from the way that the acidity lingers on the tongue.

Soft blonde pour with 2 fingers off white head. Nose is super awesome, very nuanced hop character with soft fruit, citrus, and tropical notes. Delicate flavor with very ephemeral hop notes and a light bitterness. Green and leafy with a peppery character and hints of tangerine and nectarine. Very light in body.

Very good beer, has a sweet fruit aroma and yeasty. Taste of fruit, spice, and dryness on the finish

@ Mikkeller Bar Stockholm: tydlig doft av ananas. Smaken är fruktig och humlig. Kanske är den något för enkel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Semiclear copper body, white head. Aroma has soapy pines, some lime, sweet candy malt, overly hoppied. Bit unbalanced. Flavour has soapy fruits, some light caramel, white wineish notes. Watery. Very harsh hoppiness for saison and not my favourite one.

Bottle. Thanks to mike12da. Strange twisted hop nose, with great tropical fruit. Hazy pale straw. Light tangy sourish citrus / moves into strained peaches and notes of tobacco / matures in finish with balanced fruitiness with flourishes of dark hopping. Medium body, with a great mouthfeel. Superb.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a golden orange with a fluffy white head. Nose is dominated by passionfruit and mango. Like a fresh juice! Taste is a little boozy up front then as it warms it sweetens out nicely. Balanced stuff. Pretty easy to drink. Good stuff!

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours bright hazy orange with a fluffy white cap. Nose is loaded up with sweet tropical fruits and mild sweet yeast. Predominately passionfruit and mango with plenty of fruit juice notes about it. Taste is a little boozy but as it warms, the sweetness covers that and it becomes more like a tropical fruit bomb. Big and sweet but with enough balance that it drinks far too easily. Very tasty

Appears a light hazy honey color with a small off-white head. The smell is spice, fruit with some tartness. The taste is Spice, fruit with a touch of funk ending dry. Light+ body that is nicely carbonated.

Pours cloudy orange with tall white head. Aroma of perfume, floral, citrus and fruit. Taste is medium to rich bitter with underlying wheat and honey sweet. Soft carbonation and smooth, creamy body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
