4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
This is my first beer from Prairie, and hopefully won’t be the last. Hazy golden amber pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is tart and slightly grainy. Lemon pith, lemongrass, lime leaf, honey. Flavor is lightly acidic up front, lending a tart, bright character. Lemon and lime, with lightly floral hops. Toast and grass. I wouldn’t call it "funk" but there’s definitely yeast character to it that’s almost funky. Reminds me of stuff like Jolly Pumpkin or Fantome with that bright, expressive, fresh tart Belgian character. I could probably find notes of just about any citrus fruit I looked for. Just that right balance where the hops are clearly bringing out and highlighting the natural fruity notes of the saison without just tasting like a beer with a bunch of hops dumped in it. Hits that spot that makes your mouth water and crave sip after sip. Honestly a bit thick and heavy for a hot summer day, but great with a meal of fish. Carbonation is on the light side, but I probably wouldn’t want to up it for fear that it would take away from the way that the acidity lingers on the tongue.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. It pours bit hazy yellow with a big white head. The aroma is fruity hoppy and yeasty with lighter tart notes. High carbonation. Fruity flavor with spicy yeasty notes. It’s good but not as good as the overall ratings makes it imo.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured into a teku glass showing honey gold with a finger of clean white foam.
The nose shows a lot of grass and fresh pineapple with hints of mango.
The palate is light bodied and highly carbonated. The palate shows a lot of the same. There are also some earthy notes in between. Slight pilsner-like bitterness at the finish. Flavors are very clean and refreshing. Once again, another simple but great beer from Prairie.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Beermoth, Manchester. Just about clear, gold colour. Big, rocky, frothy, clingy, lasting, white head. It looks exactly how you’d want it to. It’s a big hopped, farmhouse beer, certainly, but it comes across light, fresh, floral, and has loads of body. Very drinkable. Super tasty. Super fresh. Lovely.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle @ Krelhulks afskedsfest. Pours hazy orange amber with a foamy white head. Aroma has lots of dry brett along with some straw, haycitrusy hops, barnyard and some sweeter citrus fruits. The taste has those same barnyard and hoppy notes along with some nice dry brett, weak mint, sweeter citrusy fruits and some bitter hops. An overall rural feel to it. Nice one !
