Prairie Hop is our hop driven saison. This beer is packed with Simcoe and Citra hops. Notes of peach, mango, and tangerine can be found in the flavor and aroma of this beer. The beer finishes dry which helps the hops jump out of the glass flavor wise.

Imagine reclining in a peach orchard, eating a juicy ripe mango in July...and you can almost smell this beer...there is a faint aroma of hops too, but after a taste the hoppiness rears to life! Amber cloud with a frothy head, this beer is yeasty, fruity, and above all, hoppy with a very dry finish. It is remarkably pleasant for being dry hopped! I might just forsake eating a mango in a peach orchard for another glass! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from craft beer cellar Waterbury A: ripe pineapple, citrusy, peach, belgian yeast app: hazy pale thick white head with superior lacing. T/p: med body with medium long bitter finish. Moderate high carbonation. O: I couldn’t understand the dating system on the bottle but I’m under the impression that this wasn’t at it freshes. That said I really enjoyed what I drank. The belgian paired well with the fruitiness from the hop. Good job.

A really nice saison, cleverly disguised in aggressive hops. Mostly citrus, but the Belgian yeast lends some unique aromas and a crisp bite at the end.

Bottle. A Belgian-style Saison meaning flavors of clove & nutmeg coupled with brett funkiness and pleasant aromas that don’t match the flavors. Pours cloudy fresh apple cider in color with a fully lasting white frothy head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of freshly cut wet grass, banana and tropical floral. Light body, light to medium bitter, a distractingly lively carbo that quickly diminishes to soft and a bone dry lingering bitter finish. No taste of alcohol.

Bottle from Brewfest. Peachy orange gold with lasting dense soft head and lace. Mild tangerine lemon and spice aroma with some yeasty esters. Some tropical fruit and peachy sweetness with some lingering esters and grassiness and fairly dry citrus and herb finish. Soft carbo and light body. Not mind-blowing but workmanlike delicious.
