Prairie Hop is our hop driven saison. This beer is packed with Simcoe and Citra hops. Notes of peach, mango, and tangerine can be found in the flavor and aroma of this beer. The beer finishes dry which helps the hops jump out of the glass flavor wise.

Imagine reclining in a peach orchard, eating a juicy ripe mango in July...and you can almost smell this beer...there is a faint aroma of hops too, but after a taste the hoppiness rears to life! Amber cloud with a frothy head, this beer is yeasty, fruity, and above all, hoppy with a very dry finish. It is remarkably pleasant for being dry hopped! I might just forsake eating a mango in a peach orchard for another glass! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Gainesville World of Beer. Pours cloudy yellow with a creamy white one finger head into my tulip. Aroma of big funky saison yeast, grassy hops, some pine, very sweet honey notes, and some other fruits in there. Flavor follows with very sweet fruits from the hops, a bit of zesty citrus peel bite, grass, honey. Mouthfeel is thicker than expected, but lightened up by the high carbonation. Overall this was very nice, but not what I had expected going in. Definitely a good beer, but easily one of my least favorite Prairie saisons out there.

Draft at House of Brews. Cloudy amber pour witha frothy white head. Tropical fruits and citrus aroma with a good dose of maltiness and yeast. Flavor is similar and kind of one dimensional. Zesty body and lively carbonation. Not bad, maybe better out of the bottle?

Bottle from Hazel’s beverage world. Pours golden with an inch of white foam. Leaves some lacing in the glass. has some citrus on the nose. Very hop forward on the tongue which overpowers the funkiness you expect from the saison. finishes clean. tasty but adding a shitload of hops to goose a style seems really fucking obvious.

This is the first hop focused beer I have had from Prairie so here goes. Beer pours cloudy golden color with a prodigious egg white head. Aroma is nice with significant grassy, floral/herbal notes. Taste is bitter. Body is medium and texture is oily. An enjoyable hoppy beer.

16.9 oz bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Hazy straw/pale yellow with around two fingers of off-white head. Aromas of citrus, herbs, spice, light floral notes. Tastes of citrus fruit and peel, floral notes, hops, subtle funk, light spice. Medium body with a dry finish. Medium carbonation. Interesting.
