COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prairie Hop is our hop driven saison. This beer is packed with Simcoe and Citra hops. Notes of peach, mango, and tangerine can be found in the flavor and aroma of this beer. The beer finishes dry which helps the hops jump out of the glass flavor wise.

3fourths (8293) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 7, 2013
UPDATED: MAY 11, 2013 750ml bottle. cloudy semi-dark wheat colored body with a billowy and sitcky white head. strongly floral nose with a lot of potpourri, dish soap, wax, mango and peach notes; very yeast-heavy. the vanilla candle wax and tropical fruit esters begin to grow as it breathes, and though my first impression (cold from the bottle) was nice, as it arrives around 55 F there is an ester amplification. I have to say itís more a design problem than execution. medium to medium-full body; medium aicd; strongly tart; yeast and chalk texture with a lot of gummi malt sugars. an abundance of tropical / fruity American hops appears through the ester cloud, but the core is bitter pine sap. even with a careful pour itís all in suspension. perhaps you have to sit these bottles upright for a week to settle them out. so here is a beer that I would call more of raw unfiltered wheat IPA (wheat or not, the malt and yeast share similarities with Hefeweizen, flavor-wise) than anything I would call Saison. I like the effort, it has the fundamentals right to land somewhere in the area of XX Bitter (mostly pale malt, strong hop expression, Belgian yeast); but the use of American hops and doughy yeast turns it into a very bitter ester-bomb. the malt texture seems smooth by comparison to all of this, so itís one of the things I like most about this beer.

Bottle. Beermoth, Manchester. Just about clear, gold colour. Big, rocky, frothy, clingy, lasting, white head. It looks exactly how youíd want it to. Itís a big hopped, farmhouse beer, certainly, but it comes across light, fresh, floral, and has loads of body. Very drinkable. Super tasty. Super fresh. Lovely.

Bottle @ Krelhulks afskedsfest. Pours hazy orange amber with a foamy white head. Aroma has lots of dry brett along with some straw, haycitrusy hops, barnyard and some sweeter citrus fruits. The taste has those same barnyard and hoppy notes along with some nice dry brett, weak mint, sweeter citrusy fruits and some bitter hops. An overall rural feel to it. Nice one !

50cl bottle. Pours unclear yellow amber. Aroma has lots of fresh, citrussy hops, brett and pale malts. Orange, grape fruit, slight grass, ripe pineapple. Taste has more bitterness to it. Both herbal hops and brettish dry notes. Slightly sweet fruit notes as well. Really Nice balance and refreshing beer in general! High carb and smooth body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Liked this a lot. It has a nice grassy floral taste that makes me wish it was springtime. Clean and refreshing, while still being very earthy at the same time. Great stuff.

Bottle. An unclear, golden-orange beer topped by a dense, two-finger off-white head leaving lacings. Citrusy, peachy aroma with a faint funky touch. Some pale malts, grass and pine cones. Thereís a fine bitterness in the mouth, itís semi-dry and pleasantly carbonated, still with some white sugar notes. Resins, pine cones and citrus and a peachy, light funky touch. Lasting fruity finish with a nice bitterness. Sure a fine one, easy drinkable and tasteful. Refreshing. 141231

w aromacie mamy winogrona, lekka dzikość, kwiaty i trawa, chmielowa świeżość, lekka pestka. W smaku pełne, wyraźna winogronowa dzikość, smak chmielu, choć goryczka niewielka, lekkie nuty grejpfruta i lekka trawiastość, trochę nazbyt alkoholowe, choć fajnie ułożone. Świetne, choć piłem lepsze saisony.
