My rating is a bit biased because I am not a fan of stouts. This one felt a bit chalky and dark. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle-Pours black with a small fizzy kacki head and sparse lacing. big legs on this one. Nose is big roast, vanilla, slight burnt notes. Flavors are huge roast, coffee, coca nibs, very burnt. Huge body, viscus and full. Long finish full of roast, char, alcohol, and burnt notes. Pretty solid impy stout. good but needs a tad of balance.

The beer pours dark brown with a nice tan head. The aroma has chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, light soy and smooth heavy roast. It has a full smooth body and then sharp carbonation that gives it a bite. The taste has earthiness, dark chocolate, char, hot pepper and some alcohol. The finish gets even drier with char really taking over. Nice.

Bottle from HEB Pearland. Poured into teku glass. Appearance is a dark black with no to little head. Aroma is of booze and malt. Tastes right off the bat with heavy malt that tastes of chocolate and roasted coffee then dissapates into a nice taste of the oak then you get the bite from the whiskey and leaves your tongue with a taste of maple syrup. All I got to say is damn son, prairie is bout it, bout it.

Mad love going out to Willrunforbeer, on this share, mad pimping! Pitch black color with sticky legs of lace on the glass. Aroma is deep dark roasted grains, coffee beans, cocoa nibs and a mild note worthy bourbon.

The mouthfeel is correct for the style, nice full and creamy texture. I feel like everybody should use oats when they brew imperial stouts. Really helps give that dense feeling. Deep layers of roast with a mild easy whiskey finish. Gosh, damn.. Real nice stuff! Love this.

Bottle, black beer, dark walnut colored head fades to a ring. Aroma is raisin and plum, vanilla, whiskey, oak, cookies, chocolate. Taste is creme brûlée , cookies, caramel, coffee. Palate is rich and thick, carbonation subdued. Finish is coffee and hops and oak, almost dry, but not really. This is pretty sweet, and lots of whiskey barrel there, but as a desert, it’s really got a nice balance and flavor progression.
