On draft at Sfrangeways. Aroma is Brett, clean, blood orange. Taste is tangy Brett, light citrus, lemon. It’s just a nice clean crooked stave style Bret beer.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml shared by Nick... Thanks! Pours a soft cloudy yellow with a decent white head that disappears to nothing at all. Smell is citrus fruits, slight tart, yeast. Taste is lemon/lime, pineapple, with a nice tart bite that is less apparent as the glass goes down. Slight earthy funk, clean finish and good carbonation. Could easily have a few more of these. Great beer.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Location: Half liter bottle from Central Market, 11/6/13
Aroma: The nose is fruity and tart, some lemon and other citric notes, spice, and a little brett
Appearance: It pours a hazy golden color with a fizzy white head that leaves plenty of lace
Flavor: Tastes tart and fruity, there’s a nice funky flavor, spice, and a tiny hint of sweetness
Palate: The body is medium, it has a nice, clean feel, and a dry, spicy, funky finish
This was another really tasty offering from Prairie (and a collaboration with Saint Somewhere, no less!). Overall, there’s a really nice mix of tart, sour, and funky going on here. I really enjoyed it.

Bottle thanks to Santa! RIGHT ON. This one was a bit to stanky-foot sour for my liking. Very carb’d and refreshing. Balance is stellar, just didn’t like what the bac did to the taste.

Bottle: The aroma consists of apple, citrus, light vinegar, and a touch of lemon. It pours a transparent golden-orange with a minimal white head. The flavor starts with a quick dose of apple and citrus. The finish has light-moderate lemon, sour grapes, and a touch of sour apple. It’s light bodied with lively carbonation.

UPDATED: DEC 9, 2013 Bottle: clear yellow, pale with a white head that quickly sifts to a collar. Aroma is tart, slightly lactic with some lemon & a good dose of funk, wet blanket, & oak. Taste is fresh & crisp with some lemon skins, tart acidity, & mild lacto. Dry funk rushes in with some cotton, wet blanket, & dry oak. Light cheesecloth, dry & subtly tart finish. Very nice stuff.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 11/20
Welcomed aromas of Brett, citrus, and barnyard funk. A cloudy golden-yellow pour with a rapidly dissipating rocky white head and no lacing. The taste is acidic. Brett, citrus, prairie grass, and biscuit constitute the flavors. Light body and crisp carbonation. Dry, crisp, Champiang-like mouthfeel. Overall, an excellent example of a sour beer. Mouth puckering, crisp and refreshing. A delight.
