A collaboration between Prairie and Bob Sylvester from Saint Somewhere Brewing in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
Prairie Somewhere is a blend of a golden farmhouse ale and a sour ale. Citrus fruit is used in the kettle to add intense orange and lime notes.

Pours clear copper / orange with a white head. The aroma has sweet tarts, peach, funk, Belgian yeast, tartness, spice and toasty malt. It has a medium / light crisp body with sharp carbonation. The flavor begins with sharp stone fruits, tartness, funk, rustic leaves, berries and dried herbs. The finish is very dry and biting. Quite nice.

Batch 1 bottle from errl with about a year of age on it. Cloudy light orange. Nose of light fink and citrus. Limestone minerality, light lactose funk, nice citrus with lemon and orange, but I think most of the direct fruit influence had faded. Had held up well and evolved nicely. Quite different from what I remember of the St. Somewhere offering.

Of course is started to foam out as soon as we opened it. I mean, that’s kind of St. Somewhere’s signature move, right? That said, this was pretty awesome - grassy and floral, but also plenty fruity and tropical. Lots of winey and woody notes, too. Really tasty beer.

Citrus aroma with nice grape components, very tart feeling with a earthy barnyard background. Taste is citrusy with a white wine feel to it, nice level of tartness. Solid.
