Prairie Somewhere is a blend of golden farmhouse ale and a sour ale. Citrus fruit is used in the kettle to add intense orange and lime notes.

750mL shared by me with Greg, and the Lizardville Copley staff, I’m starting to grow tired of the sour saison fad, they’re good and I like this one because its still got some of the saison coming through, but they end up the same.

A: Strongest aspect of this beer. Green apple jolly rancher and barnyard. App: light gold with two inch head that subsides quickly. Crystal clear T: Does not match the aroma. Minimal lactic tones, still get some granny smith and funk. M: Smooth carbonation. Drinkable. O: Solid beer from a brewer with few missteps. The aroma had me expecting a more exciting beer than I got. I want them to keep experimenting with the sours. Anyone that can make as awesome a session beer as standard will surely hit a home run with a sour sooner than later.

Bottle. Golden pour with white head. Tart lacto and acetic sour aromas. Flavor doesn’t step up to aroma profile.

Bottle:   Hazy straw, thin to moderate frothy white head, spotty lacing.   Bright straw nose, a little floral, barnish, a bit musty.   Also seems as if it would be dry.   Dry and tart up front, not as floral as the nose suggested.   A bit more simple on the tongue than the nose leads on.   Tart and wheaty, also a bit barnish.   Finishes slightly dry, tart, wheaty, with very faint floral notes.   Seems a bit mealy too.   Not as sour or tart as I was expecting.   Decent, but the nose certainly gives a different impression than the tongue.

Bottle. The look is cloudy, off white head, and a foamy but loose white head. The smell is hay, fruit, tangy, wheat, yeast, and funk. The taste is not too sour, fruit, tang, wheat, funk, and ok.

On draft at Sfrangeways. Aroma is Brett, clean, blood orange. Taste is tangy Brett, light citrus, lemon. It’s just a nice clean crooked stave style Bret beer.

500ml shared by Nick... Thanks! Pours a soft cloudy yellow with a decent white head that disappears to nothing at all. Smell is citrus fruits, slight tart, yeast. Taste is lemon/lime, pineapple, with a nice tart bite that is less apparent as the glass goes down. Slight earthy funk, clean finish and good carbonation. Could easily have a few more of these. Great beer.
