3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a golden yellow with a thin layer of lacing. Smells sour, with some lemony zest going on and some light breadiness. Great mouthfeel, just the right amount of carbonation for a saison. Tastes nice and balanced, with a small sour finish. Overall a very good beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a bright orange gold. Quite cloudy. Opaque. I assume thereís some decent sediment in the bottle. Uneven but good-sized head. Lots of bubbles of all sizes. Dissipates relatively quickly. Zero bubbles left after a few minutes.
Aroma is heavy on lemon. There also seems to be a bit of yogurt to that sour note. Oak provides some rustic character. Itís musty and earthy. Thereís a bit of lightly cheesy funk. Thereís also a pineapple-melon tropical fruit note that Iím not a huge fan of. It gets increasingly strong relative to the other flavors in the beer as the glass sits and warms. As I keep going back, Iím liking the tropical fruit more, but it doesnít play well with the funk.
The flavor starts with some lemon-tropical fruit sweetness before the tart kicks in. That said, it never gets terribly tart, maybe medium tart. The finish picks up a bit more pucker and some oak tannin dryness. More melon. A bit too much of that fruit-pale malt sweetness, at least for now. Mild yogurt note. Some mineral character gives it a classic iron-ish saison feel.
Feel is effervescent at first. Medium pucker. Some tannic feel. Thereís definitely some body to the beer.
This review feels a bit disjointed, but the beer changes quite a bit as the beer comes to room temp. I think this beer needs some time to mature and pick up more complexity in the taste. I like the tropical fruit sweetness, and it gives the beer an interesting side, but it still feels a bit odd.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 ounce bottle from the good guys at the Lousville Beer Store for $11.99, later shared among much grateful and line-weary ticket holders at Dark Lord Day. Aroma is tart, lemon zest and pepper. Appearance is a bubbly and frothy orange shad of yellow. Taste is a big, tart and sour package of atomic firebombs and juicy fruit. Palate is pretty light, bubbly and pungent even as you swish it. Overall, itís a really satisfying brew with a pleasing and bold spicey-meringue duality.

750 c&c from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark gold with a creamy/frothy white head. Aroma is citrus/earthy. Med body or better. Flavor is earthy/bretty in moderate strength with some fairly strong citrus sour. Itís certainly dry. It finishes sour/earthy/bretty/bitter. Excellent ale.

A hazy golden orange pour with a super fizzy white head. Strong funky Brett aroma with some sour smelling green apple and lemon or lemongrass, farmyard. Tart but easy to drink, some straw or wheat. Fantastic beer, glad to tick Oklahoma with such a fantastic beer

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Picked up the bottle at Corkscrew. Itís slightly hazy, bright golden honey color with this white head made of lively bubbles which dissipated quickly. Aromas of some lemon, Brett, barnyard funk and a note of booze. The taste is tart and sour, dry, with a hint of salt. The carbonation is fairly soft. Finishes dry but with just a little pucker; bready with caramel. Great brew

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
S: Lots of brett yeast, raw wheat, shaved lemon, hay, spicy ginger and a hint of alchol. P: Golden amber some what hazy with a white head, thats the first pour after that it looks like pineapple juice. T: Lemon tartness, has a lime with salt type of thing going on, pineapples, melon with a banyard saison finish. As it warms up some caramel comes through and so does the fruitnes of the beer which made it less sour. M: Lively carbonation with puckery sourness. O: A little bit strange but enjoyable I will picking up more beers from this brewery.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from soonerchamps. This pours a golden/orange color with a thin lasting white head on top. It smells of straw, barnyard funk, and grass, with lemon peel, white grapes, and dusty notes finishing off a wonderful scent. The flavors are tart but not super sour; plenty funky and citrusy, with straw notes, wheat, and some herbal undertones. This is a really good sour saison and a great representation of what, I think, a sour farmhouse ale should taste like. Thereís a lot of flavor and funky character throughout, but without sacrificing the delicate, refreshing nature Iíve come to expect from a good saison. Kudos to both the brewers on this fine collaboration!

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared by Chase at Saint Somewhere. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is some malt, some dough, some funk, some tartness, and some tropical fruit. Flavor is similarly mixed enigmatic notes. I get some dough, some tropical fruits, guava, and some light tartness and funk. Light to medium in body and interesting overall.
