Pours a very light pale orange color with a bunch of yellow hues. Thin white head. Smells of lemon in the aroma. I taste lemon, grass, slight hops and some grapefruit.

MartinT (7779) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 22, 2014
My Bottom Line:
Prominent brettanomyces colours this fruity, tropical brew, even pineapple touches to the citrusy tartness and crisp haystacks.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the cloudy yellow.
-Mouthfeel is dry and prickly.
-The fruitiness is compelling from aroma to finish.
-Drinkability is really high.

Bottle.

Bottle at Mikkeller&Friends. Clear golden - white head. Sweet grape. Nice wooden. Sulphor. Apple. Nice fruity. Grape fruits. Flowery notes. Bitter. Zesty. Very nice - ok complexity - but a bit too mild in all taste & aroma notes.....

beertholomeus (754) - California, USA - MAY 17, 2014
Pours a light golden color with a white head. Oak, yeast, spice, floral, fruit, light malt and tart aroma. Yeast, malt, lemon, apple, spice, pear, oak, floral, grassy and tart flavors. Light body and average carbonation. Lemon, spice and just a hint of tart and alcohol finish. Wouldn’t be surprised if they added brett to it.

Mad_Ferret (645) - SWEDEN - MAY 17, 2014
Bottle from Mikkeller & Friend @ home.
App: Cloudy yellow with a big white fluffy head that falls to a ring leaving no trace.
Aroma: Lemon, oranges, apples and some slight tropics, doughy wheat, some choriander-like herbs and brett. Sourish.
Taste: Sour lemon and apples, wheat, dough, brett and fruit stem. Slight warmth from the alcohol, but it’s integrated nicely.
Palate: Medium, mushy big carbonation, dry texture.
Overall: Wow. If someone told me this was a gueuze I would probably believe it. Pretty nice!

Bottle. Pours cloydy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is straight forward sour, a bit like vinegar. Taste is a lot more complex with a light oakiness and a nice lychee and citrus frutiness. A bit tart. Medium bitterness. Sweet. A winner!

Pours hazy gold with no lacing. Aroma is lemon, hay, burlap, black pepper. Flavor is complicated- lemon, hemp, pepper, sorrel, etc. Lighter than many saisons and very refreshing.
