bottle pour..light to medium orange color with active amount of carbonation..slight white head atop..nose is alive signaling this has got some complexity...aroma has notes of a saison/wild ale/gose and one taste confirms..wow.light-medium bodied with pleasing lemon rind/saison..has a nice sour character..finishes with a bit of the wood presence from the oak barrel..quite enjoyable with no real trace of the abv at all..

Bottle... Pours murky and yellow with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma is both funky and fruity - barnyard and lemon peel. Medium-bodied with tingly carbonation. The flavor is sweet and tangy - nearly tart – with low bitterness. Short, tangy, sweet finish. Bottle courtesy of biggsbowler!

500ml bottle. Lively aroma of citrus and tropical fruit, full of yeast spice and mild funk, with notes of lime, melon, faint oak, licorice, a bit of tartness and phenols along with a mild floral sweetness in the background. Hazy light golden in color, plenty of opaque sediment in the bottle, (I chose to leave the vast majority of it there) and a very thin, fading white head. Flavor profile is lightly tart, fruity, citric, floral, lightly honeyish, spicy, peppery, faintly woody, funky and herbal, finishing dry and lightly bitter. Palate is active with carbonation and very quenching, particularly for a beer of this style and dangerously drinkable for a beer of its strength. Body is medium-full. Very nice.

500 ml bottle purchased from Blackwell’s. Pours a hazy light straw color with a thin white lasting head. Aroma is perfect saison complexity: hay, yeast, funk and lemon citrus. Flavor is tart lemon citrus, wheat and grass notes, Belgian yeast. A solid, delicious representative example of the saison style.

Really pleasant beer. Hides the big alcohol well. Lots of juicy fruit (lemon, peach and pineapple) notes with spicy esters of white pepper. Bright and lively with a nice twang near the finish. Effervescent and dry. I like it more and more with every sip.

Very odd palest pink to eggshell grey with a thin ringed head. Full on peachy funk, watery sweet tropical juice overall. Rich tangy peach and peeled citrus. Tangy Oak chewy light wood thread. Finishes dry and tinselly. Very refreshing for the ABV
