Bottle. Pours cloudy pale gold with a small white head that dissipates quickly with good lacing. Aroma is funk-forward, barnyard, yeast, sweat socks, oak, lemon. Flavor is light tart, medium funk but fading with time, fruity, oaky and earthy. Medium body, low carbonation. A bit of astringency and some tannic acid from the wood. Lemon zest bitterness on the finish. Interesting, but a little uncomplex.

1/12/14. 750mL bottle from Johnís Grocery. Hazy orange pour with an awesome khaki head and plenty of lacing. Funky aroma, hoppy, floral, a touch yeasty. Nice flavor, funky, lightly tart, yeasty, some vinegar. Tasty, but not my favorite of the Prairie brews Iíve had.

Very very light and pale straw blonde with one finger of sticky white head. Nose is very funky and earthy with notes of horse blanket, barnyard, and lemongrass. Smells wild/like a geueze. Very tart and dry with lots of earthy and funky notes. Lemony with a touch of alcohol.
