An inviting funky saison to say the least. This one poured a cloudy straw yellow with a white head. Aroma was of lemon, pale grain, star fruit, brett and earth. Falvor was lmon squares, wet grass, wheat and yeasty character. Nice.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Misty yellow light body and stable head. Very funky, very well developed, clean, spritzy light malts. Flavourful, crisp, lemony, just complex enough. Plucky ending, but not very sour. Nice! (Bottle shared with Fx and Tommy)

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle to glass. Pours light, pale yellow color. Thick white head. Visibly high carbonation. Aroma is tart, brett, yeast, citrus. Taste is tart, but not overly sour. Sharp. Taste is floral, fruity ( citrus, lemon). Definite yeast presence, doughy. Finishes very dry, somewhat bitter. Palate is highly carbonated. Champagne-like. Not my favorite.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Got in a trade with cyde. 500 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Gusher upon opening as expected, didn’t lose anything. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy bright golden amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a ton of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of tart lemon peel, lime zest, peach, pear, green apple, hay, straw, floral, wheat, musty brett funk, light vinegar, clove, herbal, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy yeast ester and light malt notes; with great strength. Taste of tart lemon peel, lime zest, pear, green apple, clove, pepper, hay, straw, floral, wheat, light vinegar, musty brett funk, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Fair amount of fruity/earthy tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of tart lemon peel, lime zest, pear, green apple, clove, pepper, hay, straw, floral, wheat, herbal, musty brett funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity of fruity/funky/spicy yeast ester and light malt flavors; with a great fruity/spicy yeast flavor balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. High carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, moderately prickly, and lightly acidic mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent sour saison! All around great complexity and balance of fruity/spicy/funky yeast ester flavors with light malt presence; and very smooth and crisp to sip on. A very enjoyable offering.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle - Very funky with grass and lemon. Hazy orange with a thin white head. Tart and funky off the bat with the grass and lemon. Not too much going on except the tartness and funky flavors. Still pretty refreshing, just wish the abv was a bit lower.

1 pint, 9oz. bottle. Poured a gorgeous unfiltered golden yellow with a nice white top. Really sour taste, with notes of lemon, funk, barnyard, slight spice. Highly active carbonation, medium body. Pucker up!

Clear golden with a creamy white head and effervescent carbonatation. Funky, phenollic, hay, lemony aroma. Sour, peppery, lemon and phenollic flavor with a nice bitter, dry hoppy aftertaste. Medium light to light mouthfeel, refreshing and complex.
