Sample at Kraft House No. 5. Cloudy orange-gold color with a medium white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, yeast and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of funky citrus, herbal yeast and biscuit malt. The finish is fruity with a moderately sour citrus aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

500-ml bottle from wlvliquors. sour nose, taste, fizzy, but balanced. mainly rating this to ask: "citrus fruit"?

Bottle @ home, picked up for $10 @ Wilbur’s. Pours a hazy dark copper appearance with a tan head. Mild caramel, light pine, a bit of dankness to go with mild cheese, big mango, pineapple, papaya along with some wine notes. Medium body. Vanilla, white wine, coconut, blood orange, wood, and tannins in the flavor. A bit acidic on the finish. Not something I’d want more than 1/2 to a full bottle of from time to time.

Bottle. Golden pour, with a slight haze, and a fluffy white head. Lemon peel, grass, peach, grapefruit, mild to moderate sourness, stone fruit, hay, mild funk, and dry grain. Pretty good, summer sour.

The first ever Prairie keg tapped in Japan, at Craft Cafe Imazato. This was delicious. A lovely orange-lemon citrus flavour, not too sour, and good blend and well-hidden ABV. Very full-tasting thirst-quenching mouthfeel, wonderful for summer.

Tap at Imazato. Cloudy orange, lace, dirty. Stanky nose of apricot, a bit of lactic creaminess, some barnyard. Tart falvor, stone fruits, oranges, apricot, lots of apricot, vanilla, lactic acid. Tart but not really sour. dirty, mineral finish with grapefruit zest. A bit heavy body. Nice enough but not great.

500 mL bottle from Tasty Beverage Co., Raleigh, NC. Dark orange pour with a frothy off-white head. Slightly funky aroma with tropical fruit notes. Taste is more tart than expected with orange, mango, and lime as notable flavors. Finishes clean and citrusy easily masking the alcohol. A nicely done and rather unique tasting sour ale.

Flat, bland, blegh. Honestly not a fan of this one. Not one of Prarie’s best efforts...

Bottle. It poured a pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma was tart with brett, yeast and citrus. The taste was tart with florals and fruits. It finished dry and a little bitter. Good stuff.

Amber colored pour. Sizable light tan head. A little lacing. Nice peppery malt aroma. Notes of lemon. Tart lemony taste with a nice tart funkiness.
