A collaboration between Prairie and Bob Sylvester from Saint Somewhere Brewing in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
Prairie Somewhere is a blend of a golden farmhouse ale and a sour ale. Citrus fruit is used in the kettle to add intense orange and lime notes.

Single bottle to tulip. Pours a hazy honey color with a small white head that leaves a little spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus, apple, a little dirt/funky character. Rice wine vinegar in the front, then the citrus comes in to balance it out quickly. Some malt in the finish. Not mouth-puckeringly sour, so if you’d like a milder wild ale, this is a good choice.

50 cl bottle @ home. Pours cloudy golden amber with some sediment and a white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma and flavour are sour apples, lemons, brett, and malt - with a dry finish.

Bottle. Dusty pale, yeasty nose, earthy, herbal yeasty-fruity character. Sweet floral persimmon. Decent brew, if quite similar to other Prairie ales. I actually didn’t get as much sour with this as I was expecting.

Poured into a taster showing deep honey golden brown with sparse white foam around the edges. The nose shows a balanced mix of moderately intense brett and barnyard aromas. The palate is light bodied and moderately. The first impression shows a lot of the sour bretty notes with some dry apricot/orange zest notes here and there. The barnyard flavors show up upon warming up but play a background role compared to the rest of the flavors. Slightly over-tart on the sour flavors but still palatable and fun enough to drink.

Bottled. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, funk citrus, orange zest, wood and tropical fruit notes. Slightly sweet flavor that ends up dry and tart. Medium bodied, watery to oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice Sour.

Pours a hazy golden orange. Medium body. Initial sweetness of orange then immediate sour and funk. A great amount of both really enjoyed this one.

Draught at Watering Hole. Caramel, sour orange, oak, lemon tart, funky earthy finish. Good stuff but tasted side by side with sour monkey, it lacks a bit more sourness and complexity.

Bottle pours reddish golden with a white head. Big lime and orange aroma with some Mr. Clean. The flavor is also very lime heavy, a bit much. Some orange. Rather tart. Medium bodied and astringent. Good but weird in a way.
