3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A: Strongest aspect of this beer. Green apple jolly rancher and barnyard.
App: light gold with two inch head that subsides quickly. Crystal clear
T: Does not match the aroma. Minimal lactic tones, still get some granny smith and funk.
M: Smooth carbonation. Drinkable.
O: Solid beer from a brewer with few missteps. The aroma had me expecting a more exciting beer than I got. I want them to keep experimenting with the sours. Anyone that can make as awesome a session beer as standard will surely hit a home run with a sour sooner than later.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle:   Hazy straw, thin to moderate frothy white head, spotty lacing.   Bright straw nose, a little floral, barnish, a bit musty.   Also seems as if it would be dry.   Dry and tart up front, not as floral as the nose suggested.   A bit more simple on the tongue than the nose leads on.   Tart and wheaty, also a bit barnish.   Finishes slightly dry, tart, wheaty, with very faint floral notes.   Seems a bit mealy too.   Not as sour or tart as I was expecting.   Decent, but the nose certainly gives a different impression than the tongue.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml shared by Nick... Thanks! Pours a soft cloudy yellow with a decent white head that disappears to nothing at all. Smell is citrus fruits, slight tart, yeast. Taste is lemon/lime, pineapple, with a nice tart bite that is less apparent as the glass goes down. Slight earthy funk, clean finish and good carbonation. Could easily have a few more of these. Great beer.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Location: Half liter bottle from Central Market, 11/6/13
Aroma: The nose is fruity and tart, some lemon and other citric notes, spice, and a little brett
Appearance: It pours a hazy golden color with a fizzy white head that leaves plenty of lace
Flavor: Tastes tart and fruity, there’s a nice funky flavor, spice, and a tiny hint of sweetness
Palate: The body is medium, it has a nice, clean feel, and a dry, spicy, funky finish
This was another really tasty offering from Prairie (and a collaboration with Saint Somewhere, no less!). Overall, there’s a really nice mix of tart, sour, and funky going on here. I really enjoyed it.
