Bottle. Bright red, cloudy, neat pastel, lacy. Funky nose with grapefruit, minerals, hibiscus. Sour pickle flavor, herbal, hibiscus, grapefruit. Good, but the herbal hibiscus takes away rather than adds.

Tap at CBC 2014. Beer in the glass golden yellow, fine creamy head. Mild hoppy sourish aroma. Starts mild malty, a bit grasy, more and more fruity-sourish, notes of lemon and some apricot. Finish mild, dry-malty. Okay.

Pours a ruby red color with two fingers of pink fizzy foam. Nose has some light tart cranberry, earthy yeast, hint of low tide and iced tea. The palate is light and refreshing with lots of subtle underlying tart fruit; cranberry, raspberry, watermelon rind... some seltzer and earth yeasty must lingers nicely. Im quite excited about crushing this one to the dome.

Beautifully hazy red body. Funky, yeasty, floral, yet lacking in fruit boldness despite the color. Decent I suppose; needs more sourness and fruit presence.

Bottle split at the Manny G tasting, thanks to Bruce, 28/06/14. Opaque rhubarb red with moderate crimson spotting and edgework. Nose is tarte red berry fruits, light spice, strawberry shortcake, light acidic vibes. Taste comprises tangy red berries, floral effect, light spice, subtle acidity more in the mould of a sour/wild, straw, ciric rind. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, spice and mineral tones in the close. Ok saison but no game changer for sure.
