COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prairie Standard is our everyday beer. Its a light, crisp saison with a hoppy finish. This beer is dry hopped 1lb per bbl with Motueka hops. A lovely New Zealand hop with a spicy lime like flavor and aroma.

12 oz. bottle served in a tumbler- poured a non transparent and hazy lemon-yellow color. Massive foamy and bubbly white head formed but dissolved to one finger in size after a few minutes, no evidence of lacing upon the vessel. Aroma of wheat, funk, and lemons. Hits the mouth with a light body, malt is very light (which it should be), lime and pepper do come through in the middle, finish is light like sunshine. Nice.

OK is not a leader in craft brews...but this was excellent! Medium gold color. Solid body. Spicy with some sour. $3.19 per 12 ounce was above excellent local farmhouse ales.

Bottle. Hazy gold with a white head that fades fairly quicikly. Aroma of oranges, lime leaf, light dough, white pepper. Light bodied, modearte carbonation. Sweet hay and dough, slightly sour citrus, dry and fairly bitter finish. Spices seem to disappear. Refreshing. Another good one.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden with a thick white fluffy head with excellent retention. Aroma is doughy, Belgian yeast, peppery, lemony, dusty. Taste is dry, savory, lightly bitter and faintly tart in the finish. Foamy mouthfeel, medium body. Pretty standard.

Huge snowwhite head over pale golden beer. Aromatic, near perfumey nose with rosewater, citrus, lemonbalm, other grains, bit milky. BItter, with a light sourish, citrussy flavour, indeed not unlike lime. Again other grains, or flour from non-grain seeds. Quite dry, if the spritzy acidity masks it somewhat. Light body. Easy drinking.

Nice saison, with a fair amount of hoppiness but still lower than I would have expected for a pound of dry hops in each barrel. Classic saison taste, esters, and dryness -- very refreshing. It didn’t blow my socks off, but it didn’t disappoint at all, so I’d say it’s a pretty good "standard" table saison.

B!onde and hazy with a fluffy white head. First smell is of lemon drops, then some herbs and pepper. Body fairly light. NZ hops prominent, with gooseberry pineapple and lime. Peppery throughout. Nice.

12 fl oz bottle from Winooski Beverage (VT), served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Hazy pale straw with a fluffy white head. Aroma: Quite herbal with a dill-like aroma, fruity esters, grainy maltiness, light to moderate yeast/bread dough, some citrus, some sweet honey. Palate: Medium-ish body with fine, gentle carbonation. Flav.: Yup...that’s dill, minerals, fruity esters, herbal, citrus peel, yeast/bread dough, grainy malt; dry with gentle bitterness and a lovely fruity, dill/herbal finish.

Quite nice.
