COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prairie Standard is our everyday beer. Its a light, crisp saison with a hoppy finish. This beer is dry hopped 1lb per bbl with Motueka hops. A lovely New Zealand hop with a spicy lime like flavor and aroma.

Love the cool comic label. Pours a light yellow color. Lovely Belgian funk going on. Barnyard for sure. Coats the mouth. Nice little fizz at the front of the tongue which fades into a bit of vanilla for me. Simple and classy.

On tap at Mikkeller Bar (yes, the second hour-long drive in as many days... Forgot my credit card, but makes a great excuse to come back). Much better pick on day 2! This beer is incredible. The smoothest saison I've ever had with tropical New Zealand hop notes and a very consistent palate. Very drinkable, yet complex. Excellent beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a golden color with white head. Grassy, earthy hop flavors balanced with hay maltiness. Earthy, straw, spicy, toast flavors. Pretty tasty.

Draft. Golden pour, slightly cloudy, with a white head. Lots of melon aroma and flavor, straw, earthy hops, light bitterness, mildly sweet malt, and dry grain. Pretty tasty, and easily drinkable.

On tap at Pangaea, one of the better Saisons that I’ve had, nice tartness to counteract the blanket.

Bottle thanks to Bruce at the Croydonia tasting. It pours pale gold with a small white head. The nose is earth, hay, tangerine, passion fruit, mango, toast and light spice. The taste is earth, toast, spice, wood, marmalade, orange, tangerine, passion fruit and lemonade, with a crisp, dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Pretty tasty. Nice hoppy saison.

12 oz bottle courtesy of secret santa. Thanks. Pours a hazy gold color with a small white head that has fair retention. The aroma was musty with belgian yeasts, melons and soap. The flavor, like the aroma, features musty melons saison yeast, soap and bread. The palate is light and the carbonation is lively. The finish is long and dry. Overall: Decent saison, very tasty.

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2013 Bottle at Eulogy. Clear orange gold pour. Slight foamy head. Nice full dry brew. Does not read as a proper Belgium Saison but not so far removed. Slightly spicy amber fruit. Apricot pits. Mastica (a Greek tree sap). Straw. Nice.
