COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prairie Standard is our everyday beer. Its a light, crisp saison with a hoppy finish. This beer is dry hopped 1lb per bbl with Motueka hops. A lovely New Zealand hop with a spicy lime like flavor and aroma.

Draft in a sampler at Ei8ht Ball. Pours a clear gold color with a small white head. Aroma of lemon citrus, plenty of florals, bready malts, spices, and tropical fruits. Very floral, a bit funky. Flavor of lemon, spice, straw, pale malts, florals, soap, and light funk. Light-medium bodeid, with low to moderate carbonation and a fruity, funky, floral mouthfeel. Nice everyday kind of beer. Refreshing, easy to drink.

Got in a trade with cyde. 12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours moderately hazy bright golden amber color with a 2-3 finger foamy and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big lemon zest, lime, peach, pear, apple, floral, grass, clove, pepper, wheat, bread, light honey, herbal, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Fantastic aromas with great complexity and balance of hop, malt, and yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon zest, pear, apple, lime, clove, pepper, wheat, bread, grass, floral, herbal, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of lemon zest, lime, pear, apple, wheat, clove, pepper, bread, grass, floral, herbal, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of malt, hop, and yeast ester flavors; with a great malt/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a smooth, crisp, and lightly prickly mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent hoppy saison! All around great complexity and balance of hop, malt, and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Again I am underwhelmed by their brew. Light yellow hue. Dim head. More bitter than a saison should be. I detect a bit of barley and wheat. Seems lacking in body. The after taste is dry when it needs to linger. I like the idea though of presenting it in a single bottle rather than a bomber. This saison falls miserably short . Instead may I suggest a better one by the Boulevard Brewing Co .

Enjoyed at The Trappist in Oakland. Super fruity, spicy, malty, very easy drinking. Awesome.

Slightly hazed golden with a resilient and nicely lacing cream colored head. Aroma of spice, peaches, bubble gum, citrus. The taste is a nice balance of yeasty, fruity, and bitter flavors. Medium bodied and a little dry with medium to just above medium carbonation.

Pours a hazy golden with a large foamy white head. Aroma of spicy saison notes, tropical fruits, pepper and citrusy. Flavor of black pepper, mango, pineapple, mixed citrus and bready. Extremely crisp and dry. One of my favorite saisons.

Pours a murky cloud of gold. Tight white head with nice retention. Spice, yeast, dab of citrus aroma. Heavier citrus zest tones through the taste. Hints of grass, pepper. Crisp and yeasty with a mild bitterness. Really nice saison.

Pour is a hazy orange with a average white head. Aroma is zesty, fruity and yeasty. Flavor is Belgian yeasty funk with some bitter citrus and white pepper. Finish has more pepper and bitterness. A very fine saison. All the things you are looking for in a saison show up.

Bottle. The look is mostly clear with a slight chill haze, golden in color, bright, and has a decent white head. The smell is yeast, fruit, wheat, slight candy, hay, and rustic. The taste is hops, straw, bitterness, grass, and good.
