3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle. Pours a light, slightly hazy golden with a thin but lasting white head. Lemony aroma. Slight spiciness in taste coupled with a predominant lemon flavor. A bit thin in palate and the flavors do not seem very complex.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: APR 18, 2013 Bottle from soonerchamps. This is a golden color with a thin white head on top that leaves spots of lacing here and there. Grassy and herbal hoppy aroma; some lavender or chamomile in there, with yeast as well. The flavors pretty much fall in line with all of that; leafy hops, herbal notes, yeast, and a little citrus. Itís dry in the finish with crisp bitterness. This is a really good basic saison and by saying that I donít think Iím giving it enough credit. But thatís what it is. Itís clean, refreshing, and simple, but not bland. Pretty much what I look for in a session type saison and Iíd love to have access to this on a regular basis.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Starts off with aromas of fresh cut grass, hay and warm vegetable field. Pours crystal clear pale yellow with a soapy white head that dissipates rather quickly. Light toasted bread flavor followed by a little funk and sourness. Then some bright lemon/lime notes and a little dry bitterness, but not overtly bitter at all. Finishes perfectly dry with lasting lemon flavor. Very refreshing and drinkable Saison.

Tap sample. Poured bright golden color with an average frothy white head that was lasting with good lacing. Medium to heavy yeast, herbal and sweet citrus hop aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy blalanced complex sweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid complex beer for style.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a glowy golden color, relatively light. Mildly cloudy. Big white head puffs up quickly and sticks around for some time. Lots of big bubbles. Aroma is apple/pear cider, earthy and mineral-ish flavors and a grassy hoppiness. Thereís a little spice of spice in the mix, possibly from the hops. Some nice bready grain notes. Itís nice just a bit weak, and that apple cider flavor dominates. Mild funk. The taste is an improvement for me. On the palate, itís a pleasant, mildly sweet saison with a light spicy hoppiness. Quite refreshing. Dries out in the finish. Bright malt flavor and a spicy, floral hop bitterness. More funk. Very nice beer. Pretty gentle carbonation for the style. Light mouthfeel. Very easy to drink. Another very good beer from Prairie. I preferred Prairie Hop and Prarie Ale, but this is an impressive beer to see in 12 ounce packs. I look forward to more from the brewery.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 ox bottle compliments of soonerchamps. Pours a super hazy light orange color into a tulip with a nice fluffy head. Aroma of yeast, citrus, earth and hay. Flavor of grapefruit, yeast and bitterness. Sour finish. moderately carbonation. This is a hard one for me to put my finger on. Not really my style, but I think that itís true to the brewers intended profile.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft to taster. Looks good; a semi-transparent gold with foamy white head that dissipates into sticky lacing. Smells and tastes solid; semi-sweet, spicy, doughy, and yeasty. Good on the palate. A solid example of the style.
