UPDATED: JUL 3, 2013 Bottle (12 oz). Thanks Matt! Hazy golden with a small white head and good lacing. Aroma of fruits (apricots, peaches, orange), light malt and yeast. Taste is slightly to moderately sweet with fruits, malt and a nice farmhouse character. Medium body. Slightly dry. Very good Saison/Belgian Ale. Refreshing. Almost perfect summer beer, I would drink a ton of these if it was available in my area.

355ml bottle. Filmy dark golden colour with average, frothy to macropore, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Floral yeasty and hoppy aroma, hints of bubblegum, lime and lemon grass. Taste is initially minimally sweet pale malty, fruity hints of orange, a floral touch, in the finish hints of lime, minimally soapy bitter hoppy; lively carbonation. Very drinkable, light, refreshing, flavourful.

Bottle thanks to soonerchamps. Pours a beautiful shade of hazy orange with a full white head. The head dies after about a minute. The aroma is citrusy with undertones of hay. The taste is refreshing and balanced and the feel has a light effervescence to it.

On tap at the RateBeer Gallery event in SF. Pours straw gold with a white head. Tropical fruit: orange, clementine. Light honey sweetness with summer stone fruits, a bit tart. Nice stuff going on but it doesn’t all sync up quite right to me. Still good.

Earl Of Essex. Bottle. Hazy gold beer, good size head, very pale cream colour. Palate is light and crisp. Mild minerals. Super light yeast, nicely judged. Very clean and light hops, pine with lesser passion fruit and mango leading a pack of tropical fruits. Crisp and light finish. A fresh and delightfully easy drinking beer!
