Prairie Standard is our everyday beer. Its a light, crisp saison with a hoppy finish. This beer is dry hopped 1lb per bbl with Motueka hops. A lovely New Zealand hop with a spicy lime like flavor and aroma.

Bottle. Lemon-lime goodness! Pours a hazy yellow-gold, just a touch of head around the edge. Prairie farmhouse yeast up front on the nose. Motueka lemon-lime kick comes through big time on the taste. A nice expression of both yeast and hop with the malt cleanly holding it all together while remaining in the background. Light to medium body, perfect for a warm afternoon. You could crush these all day and I’d be happy to do just that!

Pretty good. Nothing ground breaking, but a solid representation of style. Not much by way of head or lacing, but I don’t care about that. Not bad, by any means.

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, corn starch), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, lemon oil, herbs), with notes of lemon juice / lemonade, pepper. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. This is darn near a Radler in character...like an American Wheat mixed with lemonade. Kinda starchy-grainy malt character. Light and watery in the mouth, and scarcely a head to speak of. Overall a pretty simple, mediocre, non-serious offering.

Bottle; poured a cloudy gold with a whitish head. Aroma of wheat, funky, citrus, and earth. Very nice aroma and pleasant flavor.

Turbid gold - faint lace - nose is strong lime and lemon citrus, key lime pie sweetness, mild musky funkiness, perfumey herbal notes - texture is fairly soft - flavor is moderately tart, with notes of lemon and lime, dull yeastiness, medium to high bitterness, light floral character - simplistic, with a watery finish, muddled by yeasty character - bland, but not without merit - but certainly not worth the price tag considering they bill this as their "everyday beer."

Aroma is sweet citrus and hints of lime. Appearance is murky golden with a frothy white head. Huge citrus wave upfront filed by slight funk. Both funk and citrus linger long after last sip. Wonderful experience.

Botte. Herbal limoncello, lemon perfume, lime sherbet, yogurt buggy yeastiness. Apparent fullness up front turns watery in a stupidly bitter finish. Aggressive simplicity. Soft and silky carbonation is enjoyable but not much else unless you enjoy sucking lemon peel.
