1st Oklahoma beer c/o GreatDane1632 Thank you! Aroma - aroma has a spicy, floral, and ester filled quality, as well as barnyard yeast, some coriander as well. Appearance - body color is a Sunglow yellow; liquid is cloudy with a tiny bit of sediment at the very bottom of the glass; head is frothy white about 2 1/2" it slowly settles into a rocky setup and then ; there is some sudsy lacing as well. Really nice appearance Taste - the taste is a composite of sour, spicy, and sweet. There is a distinct hop that is citric and spiced, some definite WLP 565 yeast that also brings that characteristic spice along. Coriander and orange peel are also present. Palate - body is light; the texture is thin to medium; carbonation is fizzy; the finish is short and lands on the back of the tongue with an estery spice.

12oz bottle at Flying Saucer KC, body is slightly desaturated, opaque, dried tangerine with a dying frothy white head, aromas and flavors of very lightly spiced gooey banana bread, big juicy green melon and cantaloupe, earthy sweaty socks, a smooth cool mint component joins the party with warmth on a frothy light body with enjoyable levels of carbonation, smooth white pepper, quaffable, yet flavorful, residuals echoing the fore mentioned characteristics, the fluidity of flavor transitions stands out along with the fullness of flavors from such a low abv

Crisp hoppy aroma, with a bit of citrusy bite. Pours very clean and light - small dissipating white head. Slightly sour bite up front, mellow citrus with perhaps a tiny bit of piney hop, finishes with a smooth yeastiness. Medium body, decently clean finish.

Poured from a bottle into a glass. Aroma is fairly malty with a nice graininess. Moderate peppery phenolic note with a bit of coriander. Quite a bit of pear, red apple and even more citrus. Vinous white wine hop aroma compliments the phenolics and esters. Pours fairly clear, yellow gold with a thin white head that quickly recedes to the edges. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor has a medium light graininess. Moderate coriander and pepper notes. Moderate bitter drying finish. Medium light fruit esters and a moderate New Zealand hop flavor - vinous, melon, white wine and berries. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied With medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall a pretty enjoyable beer with a lot of complexity. Nice maltiness combines with good yeast character and a nice Southern Hemisphere hop character. The hop character works really well with the yeast notes and then phenolics from them.

Slightly hazy golden. Nice fluffy white head. Rather aggressive hop and yeast aroma. Spicy and up front, but ends nice and dry. A very American saison. Enjoyable especially at only 5.6%

Bottle:   Dull straw, faint haze, thin to moderate foamy white head, decent lacing.   A little barnish and musty dull floral notes up front.   Very barnish and musty up front, floral notes are dull, a touch dry, with a little wheaty body.   Not real bright overall, but fairly clean.   Hops are little zesty, a bit like pith but slightly different.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Finishes fairly dull, a bit moreso than the start.   Not a bright Saison, but clean.   Tiz alright.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Drunk on my 40th. Hazy gold pour with a middling white head. Fruity nose with notes of. grassy hop and yeast. Similar flavour with nice tropical fruit and a little tartness.Very sessionable and a welcoming take on the style.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a tulip. Pours hazy golden with medium white head. Aroma is yeasty and spicy hops, medium body, medium carbonation, and nice big bubble lacing. Taste is spicy hops, yeasty, and a hint of lime. I like this better than their Prairie Ale and at a 1/3 of the price.

Golden with a white head - A very good hop aroma - A good malt body to support a good hop profile with citrus, and there is olso some peppery yeast notes in the back - Cirtus hop goes into the finish along with some yeast - This was good and refreshing

Slightly hazy, goldenrod color with a small, white head. The aroma is herbal along with some doughy yeast and leaves. It has a light, crisp texture with very lively, almost fizzy, carbonation. The taste is tart with some lime flavor that hangs around in the finish.
