Prairie Standard is our everyday beer. Its a light, crisp saison with a hoppy finish. This beer is dry hopped 1lb per bbl with Motueka hops. A lovely New Zealand hop with a spicy lime like flavor and aroma.

Looks like cloudy lemonade with rocky foam. The aroma is of unmistakable Belgian saison yeast, cereal, and a little spicy hops. Flavor is sweet, sour, with some hops. Carbonated and light palate. Very refreshing.

Densly opalescent sun yellow colour with a fine pored small head. Aromas of light funk, barnyard, fruity esters, lime peel, floral with a light toasty malt touch. Softly carbonated, smooth and crisp with a light body. Light hint of sweetness with a well balanced tartness making this beer pretty juicy. Finish has a light dry momentum.

Cloudy yellow-gold pour with a one finger, creamy bright white head that has great retention. Aroma is bread, pepper, cereal, lemon-lime soda, fruity and floral hops. Flavor is light, toasty cereal up front, some breadiness, saltine cracker, lemon-lime, sweet stone fruit (more plum or nectarine-like) and a hint of peppery yeast and light herbal notes to the finish. Light to medium body, an odd, juicy, yet slightly chalky feel, that actually works really well and a medium, sharp carbonation. Really tasty stuff, nice balance, I’ve had too many dough bomb Saisons lately, this is a great change of pace.

Appearance was cloudy yellowish with fizzy creamy white 2 finger head, light lacing. Aromas are soft barnyard, spicy, lemony cracker beautiful nose. Taste are lemons and key limes upfront then soft spicy dough with cracker malts. Backend is soft yeasty slightly acidic farmhouse finish. Palate was lively creamy CO2 with light-medium body, lasting slightly drying tangy finish. Overall an excellent example of an American Saison.

Mildish earthy hops. Taste is not bitter. A bit sweet. Some hop flavor. Nice and easy drinkable. Not impressive? Pours really clear with little head. Bit of a sharp carb. Surprised is a saison. Not super spicy flavor or aroma.
