Prairie Standard is our everyday beer. Its a light, crisp saison with a hoppy finish. This beer is dry hopped 1lb per bbl with Motueka hops. A lovely New Zealand hop with a spicy lime like flavor and aroma.

Nose with a lot of yeast but also fruity. Cloudy but still looking quite good. Fruity and almost wheat taste with some fresh citric hops on the palate.

This ale poured a very light yellow colour with a bright white champagne head. Scents include sour dough, corn and hops. First swig was a little thin and quite carbonated with flavours of lemon citrus and grass. Finish was quite tart with the citrus hop flavour lingering...

Bottle from Kihoskh. Cloudy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of phenols and baking yeast with fruity notes of pineapple and citrus. Fruity and yeasty flavour dominated by plastic like phenols

At a tasting, thanks, small stable bubbly head, cloudy pale orange color, bretty aroma of spice and sweat with a citrusy whiff, flavor of nuts and wood with Stoney mineral and herbal tea notes and a touch of spice, light bitterness and a citrusy sourness. Nice and easy to drink.

Sampled from 12 oz. bottle, this ale had a hazy pale yellow pour and presented a lasting, creamy white cover that receded a little, it left nice lacing on the glass, the nose had a lemon forward aroma with grapefruit and lime citrus with a little guava in the background, some nice floral scents with light bread malt, faint wild herb notes with spice, light fruit and powdered sugar like sweetness, it had little to no funk or earth and/or on the nose, the flavors were light lemon and citrus fruit with a little malt, faint herb and spice, the finish had a light bitterness with a faint spice and pepper, it left the mouth a little dry, the mouth feel was light, creamy and had lively carbonation, this beer had a nice nose, a nice blend of light fruit, herb and spice, the flavor was pretty good, a nice drink to quench your thirst during the Summer.

Don’t let the vanilla name fool you. Prairie Standard is an earthy, hoppy Saison with beauty and refreshment to spare. Aroma is yeasty, floral, and lightly spicy. Flavor is redolent of grass, black pepper, bread, and citrus. I can’t overemphasize how gorgeously balanced each of those flavor elements is. Crisp, smooth mouthfeel. Prairie calls Standard their "everday beer." If given the chance, I’d feel compelled to make Standard a staple of my diet, too.

Robe blonde et opaque avec une mousse qui tient assez bien. Arômes de fruits jaunes, céréales, zeste d’agrumes. Biscuit et fruits confits en bouche. Final ananas. Moyennement longue en bouche. Texture liquoreuse. Une bonne bière.

Shared 12 oz. bottle. Very pale straw with gigantic foamy head. Smells of lemon, yeast, hints of tropical fruit. Tastes a bit sour and acidic, with some lemon, yeast and a touch of bitterness.

Aroma: can’t place the aroma, but very sweet; Appearance: very pale straw with pillow head that dissipates quickly; no lacing; a little cloudy: Taste: lightly sour, tastes much better than aroma would lead you to believe; crisp and refreshing, some fruitiness but not too sweet; Palate: medium body with soft carbonation; long and crisp finish; Overall: smooth, drinkable beer with good complexity; smell a bit off-putting but taste surprisingly good. Would buy again.
