Prairie Standard is our everyday beer. Its a light, crisp saison with a hoppy finish. This beer is dry hopped 1lb per bbl with Motueka hops. A lovely New Zealand hop with a spicy lime like flavor and aroma.

Funky yeast, lemon grass and piney hops... this one’s all over the map. Golden yellow, plenty of fizz. Tastes outright sour, followed by blunt bitter. Body is not crisp, rather it is an initial flush, and then a slow dry out. This is an extreme saison, with element of sour wheat ales.

Pours cloudy yellow with thin white head. Aroma is tart/sour with fruit notes from the hops. Taste is smooth, a little sweet with the sour saison note. Nice drinkable saison!

An exceptional ale. Prairie nails it every time! This is an amazingly crisp and refreshing beer. So light yet so flavorful and delicious. Nice lime-like notes on the finish. A beer to savor but also one to drink copiously. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On bottle from Vinmonopolet Aker Brygge. Hazy golden color, good foam. Medium aroma intensity; floral, fruity dominates also citrus and lighter notes of grassy hops. Medium body & complexity. Good bitterness and balance. Very enjoyable

Bottle from Hops n Vines at home. Pretty delicious- all the right qualities for a saison with a super dry finish. Really nice lemon/ lime tartness from the Motueka hops. Bready/ yeasty/ spice notes at the beginning. Pleasant earthy quality to it. And green grass- somehow NZ hops and grass always go hand in hand. Really hazy golden pour- decent white head and some lacing. Over-the-top acid and moderately bitter finish. Great.

Bottle. Thanks to Werckmeister. Hazy golden body with large white head. Aroma lemongrass maybe curry and hints of honey. Taste is caramel with herbs and also some liquorice. Aftertaste is liquorice with some malts and some bitterness. Nice one.

From the bottle. Pours a nice hazy pale gold, yellowy, a big white head. A great smell of saison yeast, lemon, lime, spice. Tartness was restrained, had a refreshing dry finish, a touch of spice. My kind of saison, US in style, crisp for summer.
