Prairie Standard is our everyday beer. Its a light, crisp saison with a hoppy finish. This beer is dry hopped 1lb per bbl with Motueka hops. A lovely New Zealand hop with a spicy lime like flavor and aroma.

Bottle. Cloudy light golden body. Huge pillowy white head. Aroma of lacquer, basement, earthy grains, lemon, citrus. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Dry finish. The brett dominates the flavor leaving the impression of a rather shallow beer. Yet, it’s dry, carbonated, refreshing. A light acidity in the finish. Solid.

Perfect pour. Head that lingers full for a while. Crisp and earthy with floral flavors. Also some lemon, grapefruit, rose petals, and tonic. Delicious farmhouse saison.

Tap at El Bait Shop. Reddish orange pour with a pinkish white head. Light sour and fruit in here, smooth and clean on the tongue. Quite aromatic. Really good brew that’s very easy to drink.

Rating from notes, drank 19 Jan 2014 -- an Okie beer on tap at the Meddlesome Moth, Dallas! Man this is just what the doctor ordered for my hangover. This is a perfect Saturday morning beer, light and refreshing with plenty of flavor and assertiveness. Great Saison.

Aroma of citrus and pine on this saison. Pretty clear for a saison which is interesting. Pine and citrus on the palate, with lemon and lime lingering on the finish. Light, but the finish was not the cleanest.

Clear copper and very light amber coloured body with a rich, five centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of grass, scratch & sniff stickers, spent coffee grounds, herbs and very light malt - this is all over the place, but its nice for complexity! Light-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal hop flavour at first with some bright lemon and citrus hop flavours with no backbone at all. Aftertaste shows the dry hopping, some lighter acidic and pure lemon flavours and a hint of white pepper and some dry spices, but no depth, no body nor much character. Overall, a nicely weighted beer, but too many nuances and juxtapositions for it to be considered purely good without comparison - try the ’original’ Krebs in the can, the taste is fairly similar! I sampled to this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from Super Jr Market in San Diego, California on 07-June-2013 for US$4.99 sampled at home in Washington on 11-April-2014.

by myself on a Friday night. Fantastic value for a four pack. Pours clear orange with small head that goes away. Aroma is brett, light crisp hop notes, funky champagne. Taste is smooth fizzy orange zest funk. A very smooth and very very night light crisp beer with a lot of nice funky notes. I love this stuff.
