COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prairie Standard is our everyday beer. Its a light, crisp saison with a hoppy finish. This beer is dry hopped 1lb per bbl with Motueka hops. A lovely New Zealand hop with a spicy lime like flavor and aroma.

Pours a hazy golden color with a white head. Citrus, tart, yeast, and pine. The hops really come through. One of my favorite Saisons which is not a style that I normally enjoy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A yeast aroma that start this beer off just right. A cloudy straw yellow color. Big full flavor start to a drawn out experience of malts and yeasts and hops. Perfect refreshed palate begging for the next sip. A new favorite can’t wait to experience the rest of the offerings.

Cloudy, very light straw. Huge lime hop flavor, balanced by a delicate sweetness that yields a flavor strikingly similar to key lime pie. Further confirms Prairie’s world class status for me.

Hoppy, light, fresh and delicious. Easy to drink and yet complex and almost Belgian in style. A wonderful burnt orange colour. Highly recommended! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a hazy golden with a large foamy white head. Aroma of spicy saison notes, tropical fruits, pepper and citrusy. Flavor of black pepper, mango, pineapple, mixed citrus and bready. Extremely crisp and dry. One of my favorite saisons.

Rating from notes, drank 19 Jan 2014 -- an Okie beer on tap at the Meddlesome Moth, Dallas! Man this is just what the doctor ordered for my hangover. This is a perfect Saturday morning beer, light and refreshing with plenty of flavor and assertiveness. Great Saison.

Hazy golden color with a large white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, lemon, earthy yeast, toast, spices. Taste of citrus, lime, pepper, yeast, toast, and a dry finish. Unfortunately drank this way too fast.

As titled, the standard. Buy it. Try it. Like it. Love it. It's a great simple ale with clean flavors and the people at Prairie Brewing really know what they are doing. Every release, limited or not, proves that. And this one does as well. Have fun and enjoy safely! A great farmhouse ale you won't soon forget. - pixels sent via Beer Buddy on iOS

Great beer. Awesome aroma and taste, brett is popping out really nice. I had this two months ago and it was just so so but the yeast has been doing wonders for this beer.

In short: A very rustic and very hoppy-bitter blonde Saison. Splendid.
How: Bottle 12oz, consumed fresh a few weeks after purchase.
The look: Slightly cloudy dark-blond body topped by a persistent small off-white head.
In long: Nose is rustic yeast in harmony with a gentle flora-tropical hopping, a breeze in a blooming countryside field. Nice pillowy mouthfeel with a generous carbonation that is never aggressive, a beer that really fills the mouth. Superb cereals, bready, fresh, flavourful, wet-hay, cookie dough. Great rustic character with an overall countryside field sensation, no dirty farmhouse or horse blanket here, this is a very clean and bright rusticity. Very bitter, maybe a bit too much so, but the hop profile has a nice floral and tropical fruits refreshing quality. I would personally tone down the bitterness a bit but besides this minor flaw this is a near perfect modern session Saison. Sometimes I read a low rating for a beer I really love and I feel very offended by this rating so I write a letter that says “you really are a pathetic loser” but I don’t send it, I read it to myself in the mirror.
