COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tulsa Rugby Ale is an American Pale Ale brewed with Summit and Chinook hops. It’s a medium-bodied ale with notes of biscuit that nicely compliment the piney resin notes the hops add.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a murky amber color with a small off-white head. The aroma is hops with some earthy yeast tossed in. The taste is a great hop flavor with some yeast in the background. An outstanding beer. Also has a great bottle cap, a frontal view of a catfish.

Tasting at Mr Smith’s Skyflat. Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Fluffy light malts, little creamy sweetness. Light hop spice with lesser touches of pine and orange. A modest bitterness runs throughout. Light dry finish. Very light and fluffy all round.

12 ounce bottle poured into a tulip glass. The beer is a hazy gold color with a big head of white foam. Good retention. The aroma has lemon and pine. A touch of unsalted cracker malt base. Dry and herbal taste. Moderate bitterness. The beer really dries out in the finish. The more I sip it, the sweeter it seems to get. Refreshing beer. Medium body and medium carbonation. A fairly spritzy mouthfeel.

Bottle shared at Leighton’s place. 7/1/2015. Picked up at Ledgers liquors Berkeley CA. Light orange golden coloured pour with a lively white frothy head. Aroma is nice, tropical fruit and pithy citrus, peach, mango, straw. Flavour is composed of bready grains, white peach, orange rind, lemon rind, fruit salad. Palate is light grains, highly frothy airy, mineral. I like it nice floral tropical fruit.

12oz bottle - nose is citrus, wildgrass and caramel. Sip adds resin and slight "petit Breton" cookies. not that bitter for the style.

Bottle share, thanks to Fergus. As ’Prairie Tulsa Rugby Ale’, 5.4%. Opaque hazy orange, lightly sparkling, big foamy off-white head, full lacing. Aroma is celery, dust, card. A bit ’green’. Maybe they’re going for the rugby pitch vibe. Body is medium, tingly carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is piney, straw, minerally, dry finish with some white pepper. Pretty decent.

Bottle thanks to Fergus. It pours lightly hazy golden - amber with a thick white head. The nose is fresh, juicy, tropical fruit vibe, grassy, earthy, pine, fresh bread and a touch of bubblegum. The taste is bitter, earthy, grassy, floral, light minerals vibe, piney action, grapefruit, minerals and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate - high carbonation. Crisp and easy drinking. Decent stuff.
