Tulsa Rugby Ale is an American Pale Ale brewed with Summit and Chinook hops. Itís a medium-bodied ale with notes of biscuit that nicely compliment the piney resin notes the hops add.

[Bottle (12oz)] Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a large lasting frothy white head. Some lacing. Aroma and flavour are decently hoppy, if a bit light, along with bready malt. Flavourís a touch watery and has a moderate bitter finish. Average bodied. A good Pale Ale.

Aroma is tropical fruit, really great sweet peaches, pineapple, pine, floral, mostly fruity. Appearance is dark golden, opaque, white head. Taste is wonderful, grapefruit, pine, pineapple, some malt but not enough to be off-putting. Mouthfeel is medium body, carbonation is less than Iíd like for the style. Overall, this is just lovely.

The Ssampler, NYC bottle: pours hazy orange with a white head. Light fruitiness and citrus in the nose. Taste is not very bitter. It is kind of citrusy, but not too much so. Slightly bitter and hopy aftertaste. Light sugar. Not the best.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Cloudy orange amber with a solid 1" white head, broken curtain of lace. Aroma of malt and bitter citrus. Taste is semi-sweet malt and toast that adds medium carbonation on the swallow, then moves to a long, lingering, citrus and pine hopped finish that is enough to balance, not enough to cover the malt. Really well balanced, easy and light to drink, an exceptional ale. Highly recommended.

This stuff is pretty good, kind of an old school APA w/ plenty of sweet maltiness. Itís very cloudy orange w/ a tight-bubbled and long lasting head. This is very fruit forward as far as the hops, real sweet and plummy smelling. Itís solidly bitter w/ a nice, full body and while it is sweet, it is not overbearing and still very drinkable. A bit of biscuit and cookie dough malt lingers on the tongue in the finish as well as some earthy pine bitterness. I would think I would not like this beer based on the deScription I am giving but it is actually quite good.

Pale light amber pour, frothy white head. Nose is apricots and yeast. Light sweetness. Middle is sweet malt, soft citrus, wild yeast. Finish is dry. Nice beer.

Bottle Pours bright slightly hazy orange with a small fizzy head around the rim of the glass. pretty boring looking brew if you ask me. Nose is lightly floral, slightly spicy with a touch of grapefruit. Flavors are mostly mineral and floral hops. Short finish and somewhat thin body. with that said, its really easy as a session brew albiet too expensive for that. ok pale ale.

Bottle: The aroma has moderate citrus, light tropical fruits, pineapple, lemon, and a hint of florals. It pours a cloudy dull golden-orange with a one finger white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a thicker ring. There is some sporadic webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with light-moderate citrus and light pineapple. The finish has light lemon peel, light grapefruit, and a touch of pine. Itís light-medium bodied with mild carbonation.
