Tulsa Rugby Ale is an American Pale Ale brewed with Summit and Chinook hops. It’s a medium-bodied ale with notes of biscuit that nicely compliment the piney resin notes the hops add.

Bottle, shared by me... in my dining room... just now.
Pours a fairly pale golden color, lightly hazy with a big head and nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma is lightly sweet and hop forward with a nice citrus on pine thing happening. Fresh, hoppy, clean, uncomplicated bouquet. totally inviting.

The flavor is again, lightly sweet with a bunch of citrus rind and piney flavor happening. It finishes dry and it has a very pleasant medium level of bitterness. Hop forward and impecabally drinkable with maybe just a touch of aspirin mid palate to sort of screw up the otherwise awesome party.

Totally great pale ale, pity the aspirin thing comes out to play, but it’s mild enough to be forgiven.

Pours a deep golden color with a slightly off white head. Aroma is citrus, strawberry, peach, maybe a hint of resin. Some sweet malts for sure on the nose. Similar hop flavors. Not bitter at all, just flavorful. Definitely some biscuity, cracker malt flavor going on. Clean yet lingering finish. Medium light body works for the 5.4% ABV. Nice offering.

Bottle. The look is golden in color, the off white head is fizzy and goes quickly away. The beer is mostly clear. The smell is fruit, pine needles, jumps out at first, peach, and resin. The taste is hops, fruits, stone fruits, pine, and good.

12 oz. bottle from Tasty Beverage Co., Raleigh. Yellowish-orange pour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of lemon zest, wet grass, and faint caramel malt. Nice balanced taste of mildly bitter piney and grassy hops paired with sweet biscuity malts. Hardly any lingering bitterness. A nicely done pale ale.

12 oz. bottle from Dutch’s. Pours a hazy golden amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor has mild plus sweetness, crackery, biscuity malts, some yeast, apples, some resiny notes, some vegetal character, dry, mild bitterness, lighter pale, this is not one of my favorites from these guys.

A hazed apricot body displays several tiny streamers beneath a slowly fading, froth-tight white head, which creates dots and thick peninsulas of lace over a solid, lasting ring

Citrus and pine are balanced by caramel and biscuit with very well controlled sweetness with a thin drying quality at the edges, a touch of mineral and herb as tropical fruit rolls through on a mostly cohesive, frothy soft medium body with tickling carbonation offering a mild edge as the previously mentioned components mingle through the balanced residual... mild rustic character with some fruit juice, solid complexity with smooth transitions

12 Fl Oz. bottle code 20151VV1 10:36 21815 (guessing this was bottled 8/6/15) served at 50º into Bormioli Rocco Electra 15 Oz. Multi-Purpose Glass day of KC release

Slightly hazy golden with a thin white foamy top. Big fruity nose with some bitter earthy floral hops, featuring tones of mango and apricot and clementine oranges. Big flavor with slightly farm-like yeastiness, a touch chewy, light floral earthy bitterness, apricot, clementine, and something a wee touch herbal and dry at the finish.
