COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tulsa Rugby Ale is an American Pale Ale brewed with Summit and Chinook hops. It’s a medium-bodied ale with notes of biscuit that nicely compliment the piney resin notes the hops add.

Bottle split at LKS, thanks to Fergus, 07/01/16. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is light plastic, tangerine, apricot jam, straw, toasted bread, light floral hop. Taste comprises light pine, toasted bread, airy malt, cantaloupe melon, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with juicy hop bitterness. Decent enough APA.

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy light amber color with small head. The aroma is nice, some malt and spicy yeast. Smooth mouthfeel, rather dry, nice spicy character, the hop has a good resiny and citrusy character.
Very good.

Bottle - Sweet, citrus and biscuit with some orange. Clear gold with a decent white head. Orange, sweet and bitter with a clean citrus finish.

12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of piney hops, biscuity malt and a little resin. Flavour is quite fresh, with notes of piney hops, biscuity malt and some resin again. Well-balanced, though very ordinary, with a dry piney and biscuity finish. Solid, but not exciting.

12 oz. bottle. 7-11, Kittery, ME. Unfiltered golden with super huge level of carbonation. In fact it was poured slow and only half a bottle at a time. Sticky lace all down the sides of the glass. Aroma is biscuit malts, white bread, light floral and weak citrus under the floral hops.

Flavor is a carbon copy of the aroma. Bready malt backbone with the mild floral hop bitterness that vanishes fast after the sip. Body is on the lighter side of medium with just a nuance of straw grain. Clean and enjoyable APA. Super easy to drain the glass.

Pine, dank resiny, orange zest, crackery malt, spicy/rustic/yeasty. Fizzy big head dissipates quickly.

Poured from 12oz brown bottle, cool graphic design, into schooner glass. Hazy orange colour with weak white foam. Mellow American Wheat grainbill with emphasis on pungent hops: musky, tropical fruit, black currant, green grape, tomato plant, vegetal, blueberry, strawberry, melon. So this is what Summit & Chinook hops taste like together. Medium body and carbonation, mineral-water and tannins in the mouthfeel, the hop taste isn’t exactly smooth, but complex and nonetheless easy to drink, dry finish.

Pours a cloudy yellow-golden color with a large, sudsy, dull white head. Pungent, mildly spicy, and earthy nose. A little chalky and crispy fizz on the palate. Flavors approximate the nose.

Bottle from RR. Pours cloudy yellow to orange with nice foam that lingers. Aroma is strange with rotting vegetal flavor, slight booze, Meyer lemons. Taste is similar with a mild citrus finish. I think I am not a fan of the chosen hops.

Nice nose, lemon zest and doughy. Huge head on pour. Foggy blonde. Squat bottle, decent label. Well carbonated. Fairly sweet, lemony, zippy. Medium body, lemonhead candy finish. Yeasty, almost belgianesque. Very clean drinking and enjoyable. ABC Liquors, Betton.
