Ughsmash (3079), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA May 17, 2007 On tap at Prairie Rock. Poured a clear reddish-amber with no head.. flat and translucent. Enjoyed the aroma of deeply-toasted, rum-laced caramel and dark fruits.. some alcohol apparent.. big & mean, but well-presented. The flavor found an odd blend of boozy caramel and plums upfront.. worked OK.. some unidentifiable bitterness and alcohol scald the back-end a bit.. ugly bitter, boozy finish. Warm on the palate with a smooth fore.. medium-heavy bodied.. gets ugly toward the finish.
