drewbeerme (1782), Chicago, Illinois, USA Apr 15, 2007 on tap, pours brown with tan head. nice smoke and toasted biscuit. flavor is smokey and meaty but its a tad harsh. Cornfield (4255), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Feb 8, 2007 This is a good looking beer, having a very reddish chestnut body and a decent bubbly tan head. The aroma is rich and toasty, sweet malts, an underlying toffee scent, pomes, a drop of butterscotch, and a plank of wood. The roasted bitterness keeps the sweetness in check in the flavor while an earthy woodiness increases. Pretty decent drink here.

steview (737), Oceanside, California, USA Mar 24, 2005 malty, sweet, syrupy. slightly citrus. thin, easy to drink, but a bit cloying in the end. quite strong, also. in the end, it’s like a less carbonated and much harsher coca-cola. $3, 25oz mugs on Tuesdays is awesome, though.
