3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Countbeer (2853) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - DEC 14, 2012
Bottle:
Thanks Maarten:
Medium sized head, vast and thicker in structure, creamy in color.
The head changes slowly into a closed lacing.
The beer has a hazy to murky deep orange to amber color.
Smell creamy peach, some vanilla, hint of nettle, gass, some yeast, apricot and some sour fruit tones (think berries and lemon).
Taste is a mix of hops and sour, strange, but actually works out pretty fine: sour fruit, tart, yeasty, than there comes some hops, hop fruits and hop bitters with less to no floral hop tones.
Aftertaste is more bitter than sour with some floral tones and yeast.
Low to medium carbo, soft light creamy mouthfeel, medium body and a light creamy texture.
There is this tart ish something in this beer, an infection? Lactic sour? Does taste like it. Not bad, I quite like it. This beer is nothing really more than a mix of hops (fruits and bitters) and the sour lactic thing. Strange for an IPA, but this would make an interesting sour ale.

Bottle @ home. Aroma is fruity hops with slight malt. Bad description for the nice aroma. Flavour is the same, in a boring yet fulfilling way.

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2012 As the other praotnat version, hazy dark amber with a very nice head. Aroma is less fruity and flowery, it seems to have something dusty instead. Hoppy taste again with some dry bitter dustiness.
