Deep mahogany color with a tan head. Toffee and coffee in the nose. Mostly the same in the flavor also. Nothing wrong with it, just felt a bit dull. Maybe because a bit to soft carbonation.

(Draught at Prater Garten, Berlin, 25 July 2014) Dark brown colour, almost black, with frothy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark bread, caramel, prunes and brown sugar. Malty taste with notes of roasted malt, caramel, a touch of chocolate, dark bread and a fairly low bitterness. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Middle-of-the-roadish schwarzbier.
