3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Recht hell für ein Schwarzes, eher ein Dunkel. Karamellmalzige Aromen, dazu leicht röstig. Klingt halbtrocken aus. Recht ordentlich, auch wenn das Besondere leider fehlt.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Basically if you happen to be at the Prater Prenzlauer Berg and don’t feel like drinking the Kindl Weisse then this is your choice. Decent dark lager. Carmel and bitter tones with a dry finish. Not bad.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap at the Prater, pitch with a pillowy tan-grey head. Light body full of roast but not too sweet, resolves to somewhat of an ashen aftertaste, dries out a touch. Better accompaniment to food than able to stand on its own, rather mild.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
[draught at Prater Biergarten, Berlin] Black pour with a decent frothy off-white head. Toasted chocolate malt aroma, with a similar flavour. Lovely dry roasted chocolate finish – could do with a bit more body maybe, but thoroughly enjoyable. Had I not been wowed by the Spandau Schwartz the day after I’d have been happy to go back for more

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Prater. The buzz boy thought we were drinking cokes. Mellow sweetness with some toasted bitterness. Malty with aromas of toasted malts and hints of chocolate. Medium to light bodied. Medium carbonation. Dry toasted finish. Pretty good - enjoyed them a whole afternoon in good company.
