Une belle blanche typée qui allie des notes citronnées et épicées et à la bouche alliant rondeur et fraîcheur de manière harmonieuse, blanche de soif.

Exiting belgian white. A Belgian white like a white should be but with a unique hop twist to it. Really an own character. beautifully done.

Draft @ BBF 15. Pours a hazy golden beer with a big white head on top. Aroma is herbal, yeasty, floral and peppery. Flavor is medium bitter, some herbal touches and there’s a faint pepper burn in the back. Aftertaste has slightly more pepper and herbs. Kinda OK.

33cl bottle, De Hopduvel, bb06/2016. Note: Label does ot mention use of coriander, orange peel or grains of paradise, i.e.: if it weren’t for the sugar, this would be a globalised, both americanised and germanified Reinheitswit.) Pours an oily, cloudy light yellow. Confusing grape-forward hop nose, instead of the expected wheat tartness: semolina, elderflower, medicinal ointment. Taste is a confusing translation of that: no real citrus, orange or coriander, instead very clean white grape peel, herbal blossom, yeastiness. Globalised crossover, diminished in Wit/wheat character, heavy on floral hop nites and thus harder to pair with fish or use in culinary experiments, my prime use for Witbier.
