Draft sample @ Brugs Bier Festival 2013 as “No Hops No Glory” aka Préaris Blond given the Randal treatment with unnamed (possibly American) fresh hops. Pours hazy golden with a creamy white head. Lots of creamy citrus USA hops, quite heavy, touch fruity & light creamy grains. Taste is lots of citrus, creamy ,light milky grains, bitter floral with some light fruity & white sugar sweetness underneath it. I have been told that if you would just run water through the same installation you would get the same flavours which seems about right. This is still a nice & refreshing hop tea of sort. Body is obviously hazy, touch lower carb.

Countbeer (5263) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 9, 2013
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: Medium to bigger sized white foamy head on top of a hazy yellow colored beer. Aromas of yeast, clay, some hops, some floral tones, soap, some plants, hint of citrus and a hint of sweets/peach. Flavours of bitters, hops, plants, grass, floral tones, yeast, some citrus, some peach, crispy and getting more fruity with a bit of time and air. Aftertaste is a mix of hops, plants, some fruit, more bitter and light Medium carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied and a creamy texture. Refreshing, in balance. Decent beer.

33cl Bottle: BBD 29 May 2014. Poured into my huge ’Judas’ glass on 5 Aug 2013 during a Belgian Tasting Evening with myself! Looked fine in the glass: bright golden body with a large head (you can really pour fast into a Judas glass) of snow white bubbles. Light nose of yeasts, hop notes and freshly cut grass. The taste was also light, delicate might be a better word. Hints of flavours rather than ’in your face’ powerful features. Slight citrus feel to the piece, with a mini grain undertone. I found it pleasant enough but it was completely overshadowed by the other Belgian brews I had around it. In short: a refreshing but weak Belgian offering, start with this, don’t have it mid-session.

(Bottled@Stadin Panimobaari, sampled 2015-04-24) Clear golden with a medium, firm and lacy, quickly descending head. Very fruity nose with lime and herby hops. Fresh, pilsener-hoppy and quite bitter flavor with fruitiness in the background. Medium+ body, lowish CO2, slightly stingy bitter. Yeast softens the mouthfeel, but won’t affect the flavor much, or give more fruitiness. Too bitter-pilsenery for a saison, with a lack of fruitiness, but still an ok summer drink.

(draught) pours a clear deep golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of herbal hops, yeast, straw, light peanuts and earth, slightly metallic. flavour is mostly the same, lots of straw, lemons, yeast and light pepper, quite earthy, with a light-bitter finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Golden looks, lasting small head. Rich herbal and yeast aroma, belgian to be exact. taste isn’t very expressive though, just medium bitter. Not very dry or developed, which takes away from the good (aromatic) start. (Tilburg Beer Festival)
