Keg. Pours very dark brown, with a small foamy covering. Aroma- vanilla, milk chocolate, cocoa, bourbon, hint of dark fruit. Taste- plenty of vanilla sweetness, milk chocolate, nutty, dark fruit undertones, oily and slick in the mouth, sticky sweet finish. Excellent.

Tuoksu pistävän viskihtävä, käynyt marjamehu, aavistuksen leipäisä, musteherukkaa. Väriltään tumman ruskea, läpinäkymätön, valoa vasten kauniin kuparinen. Ohut, hento lyhytikäinen vaahto. Maussa ensin viski, sitten mehu, sitten taas viski. Marjaisa. Oluelle erikoinen alkoholin jälkipolte. Todellinen makuolut, "one for the connoisseur".

375ml bottle at home. Hazy amber brown with a small slightly off-white head. Full body with low to moderate carbonation. Quite sweet with some bitter tones. Ripe fruits, caramel, brown sugar, spices, herbs, very present bourbon taste. A delicious BA brew.

375ml bottle @ the 11th Shrewsbury Bottle Share, Feb 15, courtesy of myself. Big bourbon aroma, lusciously sweet vanilla bourbon-infused quad. Kinda wish I’d selfishly kept this all to myself. Ah well.

Cheers Mike for sharing this. 375cl bottle: BBD 26 Nov 16. Bottle number 00447 split between five of us on 17 Feb 2015 in Shrewsbury. Brown pour with an off-white topping, slight haze to the last drop out the bottle (my sample). Nose of maltiness and vanilla with some woody hints behind a yeasty undertone. The taste a little sour with all the aromas showing up again in the flavours. Decent and different. Good body depth, with traces of the bourbon oozing through the finish.

Draft. Dark amber pour, some acetone and tartness, very messy tasting barrel aged brew.

Murky light brown and slimmest ringed head. Green apple, sunday roast, a bit creamy. Odd tang throughout, loose sweetness and a bit of an odd sickly bitterness. Soft enough carbonation, but I’m not sure if it’s better or worse than the Ardbeg but the sweetness pushes things through.

Bottle, Cheers STuuu666/AMVineyrs, Pizza Bread Tasting

Bottle at Craig’s house. Appearance - close to opaque black with a thin fawn head. Nose - compost bin and sweet wood. Taste - vanilla and burnt wood, veggie note. Palate - medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a long tangy texture. Overall - it improved but wouldn’t go back.
