Bottle 33cl. Hazy orange amber color, big frothy white head, recedes slowly to a thick and stable layer, good lacing; strong fruity nose, citrus, peach, star fruit, candy sugar, pine, citrus; taste at first light sweet, fruity, soon followed by medium hoppy bitterness; medium body, oily texture, average carbonation; lingering dry bitter finish, citrus and herbal hops. Very nice and well-balanced IPA.

Vliegende Paard’s third, made with no less than 6 hop varieties. Sticky, yellowish white, stable head, orange blond colour, hazy. Complex hoppy nose, citrussy, grassy, peppery, orange peel, grapefruit, peach, bitter honey, tonic water, raspberry. Fresh onset of lemon zeste and unripe peach, subtle caramel malts, vivid and smooth, strong and complex hop bitterness in the finish, very aromatic, very long, citrussy, herbal and dry and extremely thirst-quenching. Very good IPA.

Iets troebele honing kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt fruitig, honing, bloemig en beetje orange. Smaakt bitterzoet, beetje kunstmatig en sniel. Iets rare afdronk.

Overuse of hops maybe? The grapefruit comes through the most, and that just isn’t my favorite kind. I miss some clear flavor. Bitterness in the finish isn’t very pleasant. Bottle from De Roemer in Groningen.
