A very dark brown, a head is big, creamy and light beige. Aroma has dark and dried fruits, dates, some coffee. Taste is quite weird mix of dark fruits and bitter black coffee, some herbal bitterness. Medium bodied, refreshning and smooth carbonation. Unique and weird beer, still quite OK.

Bottle - Dark fruit and some cocoa notes. Cloudy maroon with a rich beige head. Dark malts, dark fruits and some roast with a bit of bitterness in the finish. Odd and the coffee blends a bit too well so that if I didn’t know it was there it wouldn’t stand out on it’s own. Definitely adds a nice touch to the original.

Geen onaardig biertje dit. Beetje koffie/choco smaak eraan. Zware afdronk. Aroma is wat chocoladeachtig.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 30/09/16, at Oljenkorsi, 20150627) The beer poured dark reddish brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had Belgian style yeast, coffee and malts. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, Belgian style yeast, coffee, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, sweet and bitter. Booze pushed through too heavily and the finishing bitterness was unpleasant. Not an enjoyable brew.

Clear, dark red brown. Huge light beige head. Aroma has malt, caramel, some fruityness and alcohol notes. Flavour has dark malt, booze, more fruit and sweet coffee notes towards finish. Slightly sugary and sticky with good bitterness.
