330mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a small beige head. Aroma brings out bitter coffee, some caramel and a little dark fruits. Flavour is similar, bringing out a mix of dark fruits, toasted nuts, coffee and vanilla. Not the most cohesive of flavours -- not sure the coffee works so well amongst the base beer. Nothing offensive, just slightly off the mark. Decent.

Equilibrio perfetto in bocca e finale infinito. Corpo pieno e avvolgente e carbonazione assente, perfetta.

UPDATED: APR 30, 2015 Uitgeschonken in Gouden Carolus bokaal.

Bottled. Reddish brown colour with a big foamy brown head, that leaves lace. Aroma is quite strong on the coffee, and also has some slight toffee, ripe fruits, mild nuttiness as well as some slight notes of alcohol. Flavour is really dark roasted, but tasty, coffee, along with some ripe fruits, mild alcohol as well as some nutty and slightly spicy notes. Quite a pleasant brew, where the alcohol really suits the rest of the beer well.

Poured from a 330ml bottle, vintage 2014, from Vinmonopolet Aker Brygge. Frothy beige head to a clear amber-red body. Rings of lace down the glass. Smell of brown malts and herbal hops. Malt driven taste of caramel malts and coffee joined by dark spices and dark fruits towards the finish. Next to full bodied. Enjoying (hotel room Oslo 15.04.2015).

375ml bottle. Pours dark brown with a beautiful thick beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, dark fruits, some yeast, some winy character. Taste is not so good, starts sweet with sourish fruity notes before the coffee kicking in with bitter roasted notes. Medium body, light carbonation.

Brown to black, minimal off white head. Aroma has chocolate, mocca and coffee. Dito in the taste, reasonable much carbonation. With coffee in the inish, somewhat dry but nice.

Köpt på Pressklubben i Stockholm. Mycket smak och doft av kaffe. Smakar bättre originalet.
