Bottled@HBF2013. Brown hazy colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is caramel, fruits, ripe fruits, alcohol and some mild yeasty and toffeeish notes. Flavour is quite similar, but with stronger notes of the sweet malts and also quite syrupy notes.

Bottle at home. Dark brown to black pour, thin tan head. Aroma has some ripe fruits, bready yeast, licorice, candy sugar, spices and some peppers. Flavor is quite bitter, long lingering, sweet fruity, spicy and quite intense. Nice balance and thick body. Decent brew.

Sample on draft @ ZBF 2013 That smelled bad. Like the garbage bin of my studentkitchen, some coffee, cheese and a bit alcohol. Hazy chestnut red with a beige to mokka foamy head. Not lasting, but lacing. Some sparkles. Burned coffee beans, caramel, roasted. Loads of bitter but still a bit sweet. Normal fizzy mouthfeel, alcohol as well. Long strong bitter finish. Beer was not completely balanced for me, a bit too sharp.

Aroma of sweet malts with touches of dark fruit present. Pours a dark brown with a mostly diminishing tan head and minimal lacing. The taste is subdued. Malts, caramel, with some alcohol noted in the finish. Medium body with mild carbonation. Overall, not as overpowering as some quads, but very drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle @ HBF 2013

Pours dark brown with a foamy head. Aroma of sweet syrupy malts, toffee, caramel and hints of perfume. Taste is sweet, malty and fruity with hints of perfume and floral hops. Finish is malty and syrupy. A bit unbalanced and too boozy and perfumy.

On tap at Bierfestival Groningen. Brown, small head. Aroma has a bit piss in it, strange, maybe my glass wasn’t clean, or the beer seems infected. But it tastes good, full bodied,
