Wow..I have had this in Europe and remembered it differently. Thought it was a typical Euro lager with a bit more pepper and spice which was unusually good for an Eastern Euro lager. I had a bottle given to me recently and it was less than expected. The smell is of cardboard and corn. And the taste is similar to the the smell. Nothing there to get excited about or to encourage a second top opened

Bottle, 0.33l, courtesy of P&E. Clear golden color with medium frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma is dusty, grassy and grainy. Taste starts with light sweet malt, follows by grassy and grainy acidity, crisp and dry mouthfeel and mild bitter finish. Light body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Classic grainy and dusty lager...

Pours a clear golden color, topped with average white head. Average retention. There is initial skunky smell, followed by a mild malty aroma. The taste is sweet and slightly bitter in the finish with a bit of metallic feel in the aftertaste. Refreshing and drinkable, but nothing out of the ordinary.

33cl bottle at the hotel room in Sarajevo. Pours pale golden with a white head. Quite standard pale lager, tried it side by side with Tuzlanski Pilsner and preferred the latter one. Not a huge difference between them, but I found Tuzlanski slightly more refreshing. (Backlog: tasted 2010-09-01)
