maekchu (1090) - Hirakata, JAPAN - MAR 22, 2013
Bottle from local Yamaya. Mild grass and corn/cardboard aroma. Clear pale straw. Pretty bad, from the get go: harsh grain, very minor hop, finish is a chemical sort of bitterness. Thin body. Repugnant. Thin and watery. Like a light grain and paper tea.

At a tasting, thanks DSG, clear yellow colour, light skunky aroma with a touch of spice, light honey aroma with some graininess. Again, it’s drinkable, but why?
