On tap at the brewpub in Prescott where it pours with a dark body that supports a tan head. The aroma offers up the expected chocolaty maltiness as well as a sweetened dark roasted coffee sensation. The taste delivers a pleasing load of malt sweetened chocolate malts that have a sense of Nestleís Quick chocolate milk two scoops of dry mix which works well here. Behind those layers of chocolate I get dark roasted malts to burnt malts and a hint of hoppiness. This has a pleasing deep roastiness balanced nicely by some malt sweetness. Solid brew.

Pours a nice black color with thin white head. Aromas of roast and chocolate. Flavors of the same. Best beer of the day.

Growler. Chocolate-heavy nose with milk chocolate and cocoa along with a caramel and vanilla undertone and burnt sugar note. Muddy brown in color. Good melted milk chocolate taste with some coffee and roasted malt. Spot-on body for a porter, which is nice since it seems that far too many porters are too watery. A nice chocolate porter.

On draught at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a khaki head. Aroma is chocolate and a bit of coffee. Taste is sweet and semi-dry finish. Loads of chocolate. Good, but in small doses.

On tap @ brewery. Pours deep black with good mocha head. Smell is tons of chocolate, some fig and raisins, dark bitter chocolate and roasted malt. Taste is chocolate, think chocolate Tootsie Pop with roasted malt and faint bitter dark cocoa. Sweet big flavored beer, not really a fan but could see this as a dessert brew.

Aw hell no. Dark walnut color, translucent decent lacing, normal khaki head. It smells AWESOME, like straight-up milk chocolate. SO heavyhanded I could barely choke it down. Itís so sweet at the beginning and so bitter at the end, itís confusing and unsettling. It has a super-warm palate though and itís a bit oily, but that partís alright, I guess. They get points for effort and originality but I canít imagine drinking 10oz of this, much less a pint (and I LIKE heavy beers).

On tap at Prescott Brewing Clear but very dark, with a durable tan head. The glass is left nicely coated after each tip. Aroma: Chocolate! Lots of chocolate, with hints of dark fruits and dark baked bread. Flavor: Semi-sweet chocolate with hints of hops and medium+ dark malts. Some smoke and dark malts come out in the finish and aftertaste, but chocolate still dominates. Fun and pleasant but a bit too sweet. Feel: Medium body and medium carbonation; creamy smooth O: great dessert beer and for chocolate lovers.

Interesting chocolate porter. Very smooth with a combination of tootsie-roll chocolate and coffee flavors.

At gabf. Pours very dark brown & clear. Rich cocoa on the nose. Medium- bodied palate is incredible. Chocolate flavor hits you in the back palate & lingers forever. Delicious.
