Growler acquired in trade with Sparky27 (thanks!). Poured a dark brown color with a medium sized off white head. Aromas of earthiness, roast, chocolate, and some smoke. Tastes of chocolate, light roast, earthy, and a light coffee finish.

Jun 21, 2008 tasted with the phoenix crew. supplied by sparky27... dark ruby color with a thin tan head and lots of spotty lacing. aroma of sour cream, malty grain, coffee, chocolate and some grassiness. the flavor is really cooked creamy and rather sour and milky. the usual malt/grain mixes with coffee, some chocoalte, earthy hoppiness and a tart finish. light to medium bodied with a meh mouth feel...

Jun 3, 2008 Sampled at Hellbilly’s Hellraiser II. Balck pour with a thin tan head. Roasted coffee, grains and chocolate in the aroma. Caramel and light fruit added in to the flavor. Palate is a bit light, but overall a pretty good brew.

May 27, 2008 Sampled at Hellbilly’s Hellraiser II. Bomber. Pours a clear black with minimal tan head. Nose is coffee, hops and dark chocolate. Palate is much of the same with a touch of sweet toffee added. Light mouth feel. An ok porter – would be better with a thicker mouth feel.

Pours a dark brown with a small white head. Aroma of Roasted Barley, Fruit, chocolate. Flavor is cocoa, barley, fruit, coffee, caramel. Pretty good porter.
