Smells okay, looks nice. heavy in first taste, with quite a bit of coffee and some chocolate. Pretty sweet, but really a very acceptable, drinkable porter.

Deep dark color. Full body coffee aroma and flavor. A nice bitter character comes through. Aftertaste is very warm and mellow. A very enjoyable beer. If ever in Prescott check out this style on draft.

Brown to black, chocolate head, generous lace. Big nose, malt, hops, toasted grains, caramel. Front is malt sweet, the top medium, the finish nicely hopped, dry, acidic. Excellent porter, hearty, could be a light stout if not for the underlying sweetness.

2005 Great Arizona Beer Festival. Black with a good head. Aroma and flavor is roasty with sweet malt and coffee. Good stuff.
