12oz can, thanks BuckNaked. Large off-white head atop cloudy iced tea body, nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, some bread. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some pine, light bread. Light-medium body, low carbonation. Fairly clean, but very strong hop characteristic.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of nice orange peel, grapefruit, lemon into a bit of tropical fruit, hints of biscuit, slight doughy notes. Taste was a mix of orange, vanilla, lemon, hints of tropical fruit, hints of biscuit, bready notes into a bit of grain with a hint of spice, finishing fairly bitter. Best there.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. The look is golden orange in color, off white in head, and hazy. The smell is caramel apples, fruits, hops, citrus, over ripe, and ok. The taste is malty, hops, fruits, ok.

Can poured a clear orange amber with a lasting creamy ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, grapefruit, light earthiness and orange zest. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, orange zest and light grapefruit with a crisp lingering bitter finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz can from a restaurant in downtown Phoenix. Sell by 09/09/14, so this is probably a little old. The aroma has some sweet, mandarin Orange character along with some pine hoppy notes. Transparent copper body with a medium, strong cream-colored head. Starts with a caramel and husky maltiness. Plenty of tannins, and chewy. Finishes with a strong earthy and somewhat piney hop bitterness that lingers late. A bit dry. I would like to try this fresh.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz can shared by Scott. Poured a super light orange amber with an average sized white foamy head. Aroma is amber malts, syrupy citrus, honey, touch of vanilla, medium toast. Medium body that is slightly syrupy with light carbonation. Flavor is similar to the aroma but a bit more earthy and with more dirty citrus. Solid.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Location: 12 oz can by the pool at the Marriott Tempe at the Buttes, 3/9/14
Aroma: Has a nice floral hop and orange zest nose, some bready and grapefruit notes
Appearance: Pours a hazy orange color into the plastic cup, with some sticky off-white head/lace
Flavor: Tastes medium bitter, grapefruit and pine notes, with balancing light sweet, bready malts
Palate: It’s crisp and clean, medium bodied, with a soft carbonation, and a clean, mid-dry finish
This is a nice, balanced example of an IPA. My score may be partially inflated by the fact that I’m enjoying it by the pool in some perfect weather, but I am really enjoying this beer. I wish more resorts served canned craft by the pool, this is great!
