2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz can pour. This is my personal welcome to the Dominican Republic, as I get in in the middle of the night. Always time for a beer though. Pours a clear golden color with a patchy fizz head. Sour grains aroma. Flavor has some light, crisp apple, soft grains, and finishes easy and refreshing. Actually quite nice for a light pilsner/pale lager. Nothing about this one offended me.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pour out of 12 oz bottle, clear straw gold pour with thin to no head, aroma brought slight watery grain, corn, touch of spice, not much hop character. Taste was water, carbonation, slight corn, and a hint of husk.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle (in Curacao). Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, cereal, husks), with notes of metal and DMS. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly unclean, slightly husky. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy/lively carbonation. A tad more body than some light beers, but otherwise dumpable.

2.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Average corn yellow pour. Very fizzy head. Soury, grainy aroma. This tastes like a half-assed attempt to make Heineken light. for the style it’s not horrible. Probably a little better than it’s regular version which is unusual.
Had this on tap, in can, and bottle while on vacation in the Dominican Republic. I must have drank 10 gallons of it in a week. It tasted much better when it was free, trust me on that!

0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Pure light golden coloured body with a very thin white head. Aroma of cereal, metal and a very light amount of malt and citrus. Very light-bodied; Super mild flavour of malt and citrus with not much else going on. Aftertaste shows a very watery finish with hardly anything at all - very minimal on any flavour whatsoever. Overall, a pretty mild beer, naturally with only a touch of flavours coming through and none of them very pleasant. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from SuperMAX (Grocery Store) de Dieego in San Juan, Puerto Rico on 11-October-2014 for US$2,50 sampled in my hotel room here in San Juan on 13-October-2014.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Location: From a bottle at Scott’s Brats, 9/18/14
Aroma: There’s not much here aroma-wise, some grains, hints of corn, metal, and a little grass
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color with a small, fizzy head on top
Flavor: The flavor is a little better, light sweetness, fairly clean, with a mild bitter/metallic finish
Palate: The body is light and easy drinking, carbonated, but not overly so, refreshing enough
This is certainly not a good beer, but it does the trick when paired with an Italian Beef in the hot Aruban sun. I may have scored this too high based on the environmental factors, but that happens sometimes.
