ditmier (223), Boise, Idaho, USA Sep 4, 2008 2008 Bottle in St Barths - The name says it all...same hay aroma but less, same malty grain taste but lighter, I prefer the regular Presidente, it had nuances of flavour...I think they make it "light" by mixing 2 parts Presidente with one part water... PorterPounder (2852), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 16, 2008 Tallahassee, Fl. - Publix Supermarket - Killearn - 12 oz bottle. Pale golden pour with a white stikcy head that actually sticks around a while. Grainy aroma, hint of metal - but lacking that patented wet paper bag aroma that many of these tropical lagers seem to have. Taste has a hint of corn, but not overpowering, some brief sweet hints of honey. Smooth even mouthfeel and somewhat refreshing after cleaning the house after the floor laying crew left the house. Yes, much better than the regular which I remember tasting like a bag of wet Fritos. jzzbassman (688), New Albany, Mississippi, USA Jul 13, 2008 Bottle....Better than the regular because the sweet corn is a little less. Finishes crisper and although nothing to get excited about, not nearly as objectionable as many others in this category. Beershine (1440), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jun 25, 2008 Ah. Pale golden, lots of rising bubbles. Roasted corn and actually a hint of black pepper. Watery, dry finish. Less here than Prez reg, which in this case is a good thing. SuIIy (1109), W Newton, Massachusetts, USA Jun 21, 2008 pale yellow color with a hint of honey tone. Fizzy yellow head. Nose is straw, hay, grass. Flavor is water and some grassiness with some lite graininess.
