eh, thirst quencher with a kick for the tropics. better than a corona or something. light and mild; especially considering alcohol content. not much to note.

Pours a nice head for a pils. Nice golden head. Much drier and hoppier than other Caribbean beers...but still not very good.. A bit creamy, more like a cream ale with old, mossy hops.

Nice golden colour. The taste is not special at all, a beer like a thousand others. Not surprisingly.

This bottled brew marked Dec 29,2003, poured a large sized head of foamy white colored mostly lasting finely sized bubbles that left behind a carbonated transparent yellow orange colored body. The aroma contained grassy and malty notes. The mouth feel was tingly and crisp with an astringency in the aftertaste. The flavor contained the same astringency with a slight malt background. Over all a beer I’d skip.

Another Dominican Beer, another mild entry. Not a big aroma, pale yellow collor, nice head. Slightly bitter taste, but not a lot of taste. On the whole, I enjoyed Red Stripe from Jamaica better than the Dominican beers. I got a can(!) of this at the Puerto Plata airport....

I gave this beer a try since I never had it before, and boy, did I regret it! Beer smelled skunked and musky. Appeared virtually colorless. Taste was equally skunky, thin, and watery. Only excuse could be mishandling during shipping or old age. One of the only beers worse than Coors Light.

Did not like this beer at all. I just can’t get into the island beers I guess. Looked too pale in color. Funky flavor. Not for me.

Evanescent and little long-lasting foam. Yellow color clearly, much limpid one and fizzy. Moderated aroma, deprives of characteristics to signal. Light and enough bitter taste. Drinkable and altogether sufficient.

Truly, the better of the carribean beers. heres the rundown: Head: Large. Color: Pale. Smell: Like a Cassava. Taste: Fruity. Mouthfeel: like water. Drinkable? yes. Skunked? no.
